    I got mine. I didn't read the bit about activating it 2 hours before going into the store though, so it wouldn't work, but she gave it to me anyway. Which means I can still redeem it again.

      that activation before the 2 hours i think refers to another deal regarding spend $70 to get 2000 points

        Ok. Mine was 1000 points on $40.

        I went to another BWS and the same thing happened. Both times they typed my card number in because it wouldn't scan from Stocard, but I doubt that's why.

      Got 3 email offers out of 7 EDR cards in otherwise non-drinking family, so that will make up for low alcohol content for me 😯

    Interesting - previous EDR FREE BEER deal kept being taken down over a week as targeted. OP & I pointed out anyone could grab a temporary EDR card & receive free beer in that deal🍺

    Mods finally allowed deal to be published on last day, just as it expired.

    Such a waste of (full strength) FREE BEER🍺😀

    Seems there may have been a bit of learning from that deal …

    Now OzBargain has a category for Targeted deals👍

    And Woolies / BWS have learnt how to target these offers by making us activate the email linking the offer to our card😠

    I received the email and activated it, went in store and the offer did not reduce the total.
    Manager knew that deal applies to some cards and not others. Staff member didn't know about the deal.
    I will return tomorrow.

      I redeemed 2 yesterday on 2 activated EDR cards at same time, with no purchase. Staff & I joked that free beer tastes best.
      So BS.
