"Getting on the piss" now has a literal meaning.

Then it comes down to your personal preference of communist piss or bogan piss.

Great journalism - catching titles, but it could been written precisely "A worker urinated into a tank (more of a container) to store ingredients which was just emptied. It's not in the brewing system." But it'll be boring and loose the point to the pointing fingers.

A Chinese worker urinated into a Tsingtao beer tank after having an argument with a colleague, it has emerged.

The worker was filmed urinating into a tank used to store ingredients ## to make one of China's most popular beers last month.

"…The video then went viral on social media, gaining tens of millions of views.

The worker has since been detained, an official report said.

Officials from the city of Pingdu - where the factory is located - found that the worker in question was helping to unload malt containers from a truck at the time of the incident.

In a statement on the city's official Weibo page, they said the worker, surnamed Cui, got into an argument with a truck driver about moving the vehicle.

Mr Cui then climbed into the container, which had just been emptied, and urinated into it.

      …"

Great beer and great price if it's brewed in Xing Tao.

        It's brewed in Qingdao.

@seriousquokka: It's brewed in Ching Tao

            • +2

@Kojima1: It's pronounced Chin-dow. The Germans spelt it as Tsingtao because that's how it sounded to them at the time they invaded the city and setup the brewery.

@JIMB0: They improved and civilized the city.

                • @AsukaST: The old part of the city looks and feels a lot like an old German City. The rest is a modern day Chinese city, although quite relaxed and far less crowded.

    • It’s brewed from Mr. Cui

  • Never liked this beer. Very plain the age of craft beers

    • +1

It’s not intended to be anything similar to a craft beer.

Rather it is a decent quaffer, that goes well with spicy food and hot weather. Not too strong of a taste. Fun fact it actually contains rice. Not a bad drop for what it is.

      • Lots of beers use either rice or sugar as a cheap adjunct, it's not really a fact to be proud of. It reduces flavour while saving the brewery a tonne of money to not use barley.

  • +1

Fun fact: The locals like to buy this in a plastic bag and drink it with a straw.

    • +2

Also it's cheap as chips in China. I recall one of their beers being 2 yuan a can

    • all the locals go to the factory with plastic bags.. I think there's vending machines.

      • I saw a few places in the city that sell it in plastic. You can even get it in plastic at a restaurant and pour it into a glass yourself.

  • Same price in Costco Ardeer

  • Hey, I paid that for 12 Liters of petrol in Hong Kong for a motorbike.
    This is Unfair !
