        Carbon steel tools shatter and break easy but ok for handyman work at home. They tend to be ill fitting too

          @CVonC: surprised Best Buy one is that cheap. Maybe only some bits are cr-v. Usually the ratchet looking like this is the crappy stuff

    @waynesworld its sca tools contained in the set….i have sockets spanners cable cutter and other general sca tools and theyve mostly been ok/good….
    any issues ive had ive just had to take them back for a replacement…id describe the quality as fit for purpose but at an affordable price point and definitely not 'junk'. to give you an idea i just weighed the set and its about 19kg of cabinet / tools….

    Seems like a massive waste of space. They could have fit so much more in a cabinet that size.

      the lower section is filled with the sockets so thats utilised completely…
      the additional gaps i can use to hang my other tools i want in there with some adhesive hooks ;)

    @alvian: thats why i didnt list it as a 300 piece set as they do ;)
    either way ~170 actual tools inc. a very comprehensive socket set, screwdrivers, hex keys, pliers, spanners, drivers etc in a sturdy large cabinet…for $80. its still cheap….try and buy the tools individually job by job and youll quickly spend a lot more than that
