Wait I thought RAM for notebooks were different to RAM for desktops.
And it's been a long time since I've seen RAM go below $100 for DDR2 let alone DDR2 for notebooks.
Oh the iMac is the one where the computer is built into the monitor, that explains things, they're probably using laptop ram to minimise space used.
