15x BRITA MAXTRA New Water Filter Jug Refills Genuine Replacement Cartridges $79.89 (Equiv $5.33ea) Delivered @ Ozaroo Via eBay

650
CODE15

Was time to restock these filters and I was waiting until a deal came up to get these at a great price (in my opinion anything under $6 per filter is pretty good).

Usually Groupon or Ozaroo, but haven't seen a Groupon one for a while… I missed this deal for 15x refills from Ozaroo as it was OzBargained and now expired, furthermore went back up in price to $96.00 AUD at that time.

Then I remembered an old Ozaroo deal posted here a while ago and found the original deal from last year that was very popular, but only came with 6 refills. At that time you could also have gotten 12 refills for $68.41 so I've been watching that since. For ages it sat around +$80 so never bothered with them, until I noticed today that the normal eBay price went down to $78.92 AUD.

Checking the 15x refills today, the normal eBay price was also dropped to $93.73 AUD.

Thanks to mrbillions, combined with the CODE15 code for 15% off storewide when spending +$75, the 15x came down to $79.67 (equivalent to $5.31 each) or 12x came down to $67.09 (equivalent to $5.59 each).

Got to admit, if I was the true OzBargainer, I would have gone for the 15x instead of 12x to save myself $0.28 per filter!

  • time to add to my huge stack of filters I guess.

  • haha nice, that original 73 was a mistake I think

  • Pretty good. These jugs make real nice water for anyone doubting…

  • If you don't want quite that many it might pay to check Target. They were selling jugs that came with 1-2 filters for $10. I got one of the ones with 2 filters for $15, but they reduced them again if they have stock at your local.

  • No kettle in the kettles after started using these!

  • Ordered. Thanks OP!

  • Does anyone think it's better value to just buy a benchtop filter that attaches to the tap?

    • Those won't last long.
If you had the budget then install some proper filters under the sinks. But it costs to replace them

my filter for the benchtop lasts about a year.. costs about $40.
the benchtop unit cost $99. had it about 3 years.

  • Had this last year, they seem to have different taste and the filter last much less than one you get here

  • out of stock :(

  • Thanks

  • bought one (12pack) :)

  • bought. think i paid this price for a 12pack from Amazon.de a year ago.
much better than paying local prices

  • Bought the combined jug and 6 months of filter package a bit more than a year ago. Every filter opened had water dripping out of the packaging. Did not taste right either. I threw them in the bin….. make what you want of that???

That's interesting and concerning at the same time!

Did you report this to the seller you purchased off?

If so, what was their response?

      • In retrospect I should have reported it. However, I was offshore for 3 months and had the item delivered at a relatives place. Given the time span from the purchase date I chose not to report this … regrettably.

        • No worries, cheers for the heads up.

I've had no issues previously, but will definitely report if this is the case with the batch I receive!

    • Well, it does say in their description:
      "No pre-soaking required"
      Heh

    Remember cashrewards!

  • Doh! Just bought a pack of 8 for $65 at Costco a couple of weeks back.

Anyway, ordered! One can never have enough cartridges. Hopefully they don't taste funny.

  • Thanks OP! Was down to my last two. Price has changed a little to $93.99 i.e. $79.90 after discount

  • So these are sent postage included to Australia from Belfast! My gosh what is stopping entrepreneurial types or crowd funding type digital disrupters to buy in bulk and distribute large quantities within Oz? Got to do better than this price which is a lot better than Woolies. Any thoughts?

  • code is not working for this - any ideas?
