    I cannot find where to put in the coupon code. Does it automatically hide the coupon code field if the booking hotel is not eligible?

      I found where to input the code but it says it's ineligible. This was for about 6 different places in Port Douglas.

      Immediately above the credit card details and it does have a place for the code for excluded hotels, it then rejects the code as invalid for the hotel . :-( .. !!

    I'd have a look at this deal for Agoda bookings https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/266615

    The pricing on Cheap Tickets was higher that Agoda for the hotels I was searching for once I did conversion. If you then get slogged a currency conversion from the banks then that is a further cost

      Yeah I agree, agoda have consistently come up with the cheapest quote for me. The extra 10% made it sweeter.

    For those who are not already aware, Ebates will also give 1.25% rebate. And you get a $USD 10 welcome bonus.
    The Ebate rebate is in $USD and so it is better to have a verified paypal account (linked to the same email address that you used) to have it paid into rather than them sending a cheque.
    To help your mates, join ebates using referral link. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/ebates_referral_links (For benefit to the referrer you need to sign up by 30/9/16 and spend $USD 25 within 1 year.)
    Using Ebates, and 18% off discount code, and Citibank plus payment, usually best price for hotels of interest to me.

    Also note when I got pop up options:- PAY NOW /PAY LATER.
    When I did PAY NOW there was a place for the code.
    When I did PAY LATER there was then NO place for the code.
    Therefore, I would say that, when given this option, you need to opt for PAY NOW.

    Beware if you book and cancel our banks could slug you as you are repaid in $US.. That is if you have a standard card without the benefit of free currency conversion.
