  • bought one of these in the Philippines for my 3 year old daughter for 1000 pesos about $30 she loves it so $40 delivered seems good price.

I got one of these for my wife. The shop thought it was a good trade too. I'm going to miss her.

    I'm going to miss her.

    but not by much?

  • This thing goes by so many names… according to wikipedia the PlasmaCar was introduced to North America around 2003. The original model supports up to 100kg, though there are plenty of clones and I've seen some which only claim 50kg.

It looks like the original/"genuine" PlasmaCar is being sold in Australia under the Eurotrike brand. These typically go for close to/around $100, though I did find one that's $57.15 + shipping - link.

I bought a second hand clone last year for around $20+ but it's noisy/rattles a lot compared to a friend's new unit, and the wheels do not spin as smoothly/effortlessly. Hopefully this new one will be a vast improvement.

PS. Couldn't get to the payment screen on IE or FF on a desktop. Eventually worked ok with Chrome on an Android, but then there was an issue returning from Paypal to the merchant's website. Order looks like it went through on the backend though.

  • Ah just went to buy one and it's gone up in price. :(
