What's an Ultra? Is this even better than the Pro?
its ridiculous with all these different console variations now. I thought the whole point of a console was to just have one standard to avoid any hassle

The Xbone S does play 4k Bluray. Which is odd since Sony is a big pusher for Bluray sales.
Sorry, correct. Xbox S cannot do 4K gaming. I got muddled.
Either way, I can see one more version of each console coming out after the immediate revisions.
@justtoreply: I think the S can upscale to 4k. How good the upscaling is I have no idea.
MS is pushing Scorpio as "true" 4K, but I am skeptical about those claims. If it does 4K, it's going to have to turn down some settings I think and the most it will get is 30 fps.
no deal. previously was much cheaper under $400. should be around $350 soon in few weeks
Isn't the new slim PS4 is only $399? Although its only 500gb.
This has been cheaper in the past, and with the redesigned model coming in a few days this console is worth a lot less.
Best thing to do is wait a week and see what prices the redesigned model will be sold for, and whether there will be any groundbreaking sales on this old model.
