Just picked up a refurbished MacBook Pro 15 i7, 16GB, 256GB from the HN cleance Center at Mascot. Came with Apple warranty. There's a few models, I saw the 3099, 3799 and 4499 at lunch time, looks like they all come with 15% off the Apple retail price.
I gave the Apple store a buzz first but they only offered me 10% off refurb'd models.
It was getting a bit busy by the time I left, but there was a crapton of MBPs stacked together.
I just tried Harvey Bennets green and no go. Bummer.
If the rumors are to believed then new macbook pros are coming out in October. I wouldnt buy now if its only 15% off. The macbooks released in april meant the previous gen dropped by 30%+
If buying 4th generation intel processors is your thing with crappy battery life, then go buy it.
Intel are releasing their 7th generation Kaby Lake Core M and U series processors in the next few months. The new overpriced macbook pro might have it and LTE if you need internet on the go and don't want to use your phone's data.
Apple laptops will never get LTE as long as data isn't flat-rate or thereabouts.
Someone reported about Apple patenting something to do with LTE.

No, they don't. Lenovo and Dell Business laptops have great battery life.
Look at the Apple forums. The 13" macbook has great battery life, but so do the X1 Carbon G4 and Latitude 13. The 15" macbook pro, not so much.
When I last looked at the Apple online store back in March refurbished 2015 2.2ghz i7 16GB 256GB were $2629. I'd check the current price but the store is down for Apple-theatrics.
The store is back. It's still $2629 for this model though they're currently out of stock. If you're not in a rush and after one of these refurb.me or refurb tracker can let you know when they're back.
New Macbook line up coming soon so they need to get rid of stock as well as some of the macbooks have reached their EoL so yeah…
