  • Was in Coles a day or 2 ago and they had a table with a stack of $1 each strawberry packs on it.

Didn't know if it was store only promotion or external, but going from your post I assume it's a Coles vs Woolies promotion against each other.

    • yeah my local had it for 1 buck

    • Yeah that was only Saturday and Sunday

I have so many strawberries in my fridge… too bad they don't taste as nice as the ones i get from the markets..

  • This deal was actually active and displayed yesterday in a NSW Woolworths. I yoinked some and made a parfait. Tasty.

    $0.99 each at Aldi

    • +1

Buy three and pay cash and it becomes 0.983333333 each

  • I think these Strawberry deals are on a store by store basis.

A local Coles had 3 punnets for $3 recently, while the next closest store had 3 punnets for $5. Likely based on the local (over)supply, as of the punnets I expected about half had mouldy strawberries.

Why do people even buy these things, do they not have any taste buds?

    $1 each at ALDI..

    • Finishes today I think.

  • Price is already on sale at Woolies Brisbane Airport too, probably the best strawberries I've had from a supermarket in Aus as well.

  • Saw this at Hurstville, NSW yesterday

  • Strawberries are $1 at markets at the moment. Not the best flavour though, Harris Farm premium range are better.

Also for anyone looking for a bargain on blueberries head to Harris Farm. Three punnets for $9.75, Woolworths was $6 a punnet yesterday at my local.

  • I think this is a great deal. $1.25 per punnet. Why the negs?

I actually bought these at the weekend in Sydney & thy tasted great. Best strawberries ive had for a while!

  • U can freeze them and use in slushy cocktails
