  • There is a slight buzz on my 2 if I hold it up to my ear but I can't hear it or record it and crucially my kids haven't noticed it either. (Hearing in higher frequency declines starting in your 20s. Mine tops out somewhere around 15k…a 20 year old with perfect hearing should be able to hear 18-19k+).

    • i also hear the buzz but thats only when there is a cable plugged in and no phone, once i plug the cable into the phone the buzz goes away

    • Mine emits a barely audible, high-pitched whistling sound when charging a device. I'm not gonna keep it in my bedroom or a place where I need quiet, so I don't think I'm going to be too annoyed by it. I dunno, makes me think it's faulty somehow. Last charger I had that made a noise ended up having other problems too.

It's just windings of a transformer or inductor. In no way should that indicate it's potentially going to fail. It's a common thing with switch mode supplies although it can be designed out with slightly better/different components or similar

Mine arrived tonight. Box completely damaged by water despite the outer postage plastic being wrapped in plastic. The charger itself seems dry. Is it worth trying to plug it into power or too much of a risk? I don't know if any water made it into the3 internals

    • You could leave it in uncooked rice for a week or two, as that will absorb any moisture.

    • Just claim it and have another one sent.

    • Mine has been soaked too :( Could still see some water visible on the plastic.

Did you end up trying it out?

      • Yes I did, few posts down :). Left it in a sealed bag of rice for 24 hours and all was fine. Tested on a cheap phone first. Just disappointed with the amperage output

        • Oops missed that. Don't feel too comfortable trying mine out, hopefully i'll get sent a replacement which doesn't end up soaked.

        • @awoff1: Replacement received, wasn't soaked this time :)

  • 2 chargers arrived today, nicely packed and wrapped and "fragile"sticker on the outer plastic bag.Very happy, thank you OP

  • Thanks Op, I received mine yesterday. Love it already.

There's a slight, slight buzz to mine, but not enough to notice unless I have my ear up against it. Nor loud enough to keep me awake in the dead of the night.

Should this deal be marked expired yet? I ordered 2 and my 2nd got refunded cause it was ozbargained out.

    Unless they've restocked since?

  • Just received mine. quite impressed with the item. Good job banggood.

    why i hate pay pal..

We're sorry, this card can't be used for this payment. Please add a different credit or debit card.

We're not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please try again later.

what is this 1996? for fk sake.

  • Thanks all, the charger seems to work OK. Using a USB charging dr, it is weird that using the same cable on my lg g3, the blitzwolf maxes out at 0.85a, whereas my verbatim charger does 1.4a

I ordered 6th September and received 22nd September.

Unfortunately I misunderstood what was meant by "high speed charger" and assumed it would charge my Galaxy Note 4 as fast as the Samsung adaptive fast charger/QC2.0 charger, but it doesn't, which is obviously my mistake.

Using the Ampere app says that this Blitwolf charger gives me about 1000mA on average, whereas my Samsung charger was giving me like 1500-1800mA. I don't know how accurate those figures are. I forgot to check what the voltage was coming out of the QC2.0 charger.. Maybe it was higher too.

But, I think I've got a bit more evaluation I need to do before I can say that this thing definitely doesn't charge fast enough. Like I would've though it would be giving me at least a consistent 1500mA.

    • Yes no QC here. The whole way QC works is the higher voltage so that is critical and you can no longer user current as a reference.

That said my Galaxy S5 pulls about 1.5-1.7 A with the screen off. So that's no 5V only and no QC. For some reason with the screen on the charge current drops to 1.1-1.2A. That's measured with an inline USB current measurement device.

Is it possible the app is somehow calculating average current only based on the difference in energy input to the battery and assuming 5V? i.e. QC would throw that off and given misleading current readings.

Doesn't let me pick Australian plug

    • +1

Apparently they sold out the AU plug version.

      • It's just a figure 8 cable, you can easily use an AU plug one if you have at home

  • +1

No Aussie plug models left for the Black and White models, i.e. sold out.

  • +1

    hi,
can you release a few more with aus plugs ?

  • Im still waiting for mine

    • Finally got it

  • Wow this is real slow post, even for me in Perth. and I have to wait for the torch as well https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/265459

    • My torch is on backorder :( should've bought it earlier

    • Nothing here yet either……

  • I got mine last week. I just noticed my credit card has international transaction fee for this. I thought it was charged for au$. Its not much and not worth chasing up but be aware in future.

    • +1

Quite a few banks do this now. You get charged the fee depending on where the payment processor is, not the currency the payment is processed in. Grab a 28 degrees card (or similar, there are a few options). Then setup up paypal to use the 28 degrees card, but charge in US dollars (then you get the great 28 degrees rate, not the crappy site or paypal rate).

Finally 28 degrees have introduced a 95c fee for each payment to the card by bpay. So either log into their online portal and do a direct debit, or even better just setup an automatic debit through them from your normal bank account. Then you never have to worry about forgetting to pay and getting charged interest.

  • Metro Adelaide here and I have yet to receive my merchandise.

  • I don't notice the difference using this and using the USB port on the powerboard. Is there a specific USB cable for this? Tried using the USB cable from the Xiaomi battery pack and slow as chaging

    • SAME! this carger is dammmm slow compared to my powerboard

  • Haven't got mine yet? has everyone got theres? from sydney

    • Mine took ~16 days.

  • How have people been finding the charging speed?

  • Does anyone have any comments on their purchase of the Blitzwolf charger?
How does it compare to the Tronsmart Quick Charge 2.0 5 Port Charger?

    • For me Blizwolf charger is dam slow. I charge my lg g2 and xiaomi external battery and it takes longer than charging with my out of box lg g2 charger. ZZz

  • Received mine today after ~18-19 days. Works fine and no problems :) Waiting for some 15-20cm micro usb and usb type-c cable deals for this!

    • I find it slow charge not as fast as it says

      • Tbh I only have one device which uses fast charging, and the rest are just standard micro usb devices. It's more of a convinience of not having to use different wall adapters and instead have it all on one platform… Yeah not as fast :)

  • Still waiting for delivery……..mine obviously isnt coming from anywehre close

  • this charger is slower than my out of the box lg g2 charger

    • +6

Do you really need to post the same thing 5 or more times?

I get a pretty easy 1.9A out of mine.

  • Still waiting…..

  • Still waiting also. Ordered 7th September and supposably shipped 8th Sept but nothing ( SA address )
Lodged support ticket and getting a Refund

Might need to look at the Tronsmart now that I'm back to square one

    • They are back in stock, I'm not sure if Banggood do replacements for lost orders though? You may still have chance a to get this if that is true :)

Edit: There are currently 3 AU plug ones left

    • I was told to wait longer. No refund or replacement was possible……
      I'd be buying the tronsmart.

  • Also been waiting since early Sept.

  • After waiting over a month….

    • Did they claim it had been posted already??
Cancelled and got money back…. I'm told to just wait another week.

  • Still waiting……. Apparently another week is feasable and I should be patient and just wait.

  • Placed order on 6 Sept and just received it on 26 Oct.

  • I am yet to receive mine, was shipped on 9/9/16. I completely forgot about it, found out only after I went through my PayPal transactions

    • None here either……. They got lost on the way from Vanuatu???
Comments above about receiving it in a week seem like a miracle

      • I emailed customer service telling them i had not received it and if they could help me. They asked if I wanted a refund, I say no, please send the same product again. They said it was clearance stock, will give you a refund. I said ok and now the money is back in PayPal account.

  • I'm still waiting for USB cable pack. Was dispatched on 18/09 and it still hasn't arrived. Got the generic wait 30 business days response on the 26/10.
I've now sent another email now for an update and to not give me a generic response.
