Wish they had a decent website and showed products/prices…

Anyone know their normal price on Penrite 15-40 Semi?

    • Their website is annoying, I normally just ring to check prices.

      • +2

        Yes - call them.

Keep calling any time you need a price on something - eventually the Repco CEO should wake up and make a website.

For now, call, get the price, then go to Supercheap and get the price beat.

Hopefully that would learn Repco to have an online store, click and collect and decent prices.

        • Their bad backend software(DOS based) that can not Support their website. But click n collect website is in the pipeline though. Needs lot of investment hence why they are hesitant

But if they had a website, they wouldn't be able to Rip Every Poor Clown Off.

          @t25: Clown? I thought it was …. ;)

        • @t25:
Nifty name for a overpriced auto spares shop!

@xywolap: we go there for the good o fashion everything is behind the counter service and long wait times.

        • Wow, you're really bitter about their website, aren't you?

        • @tranqme: I think there is some sort of expectation that when doing business in the 21st century, gone are the days when our fingers did walking with the yellow pages, but with our mouses on functional websites.

I mean look at https://www.sparesbox.com.au/ they have a functional website, good prices, and are overall a reliable bunch.

  • Perfect timing, was just looking for some rear brake pads as mine need changing.

    • What kind of car do you have? Sometimes you can get brake pads pretty cheap off an independent or even eBay. If it is European, you can save even more by going to the specialists.

      • Yeah, I checked on ebay. I also check my local brake/clutch place as they are often cheaper than Repco.
Still, 30% off bendix pads isnt too bad.

  • Do Supercheap normally price match them with these sorta sales?

    • +1

No, they will not only match, but they will beat the price… so really, Yes!
