Wow. That is a pretty good price for this controller without the discount. Emailed it off to a few friends who complain about not being able to afford one.

Are these "new" or refurb? Maybe open or display stock? No OEM packaging or something that makes them this cheap?

InB4: PS4 trolls with "you do know about the USB issue on these??"… I own two of these already and while the USB connector is not great, if you don't let young kids jam the charging cable into it and you treat it well, there is no issue.

    • The price history on OZB shows it has been around this price most of the time when discounted. It should be brand new unless states otherwise.

I'm lost with the controller revisions. Is this going to be the "last" controller? Or they are making a bluetooth version?

MS keeps changing their controller and it's annoying.

      Theres 4 versions

      1. Original Xbone controller
      2. Xbone controller with 3.5mm Audio Jack
      3. Xbone Elite Wireless Controller
      4. Xbone S Bluetooth controller

Ta. So an elite with BT is quite possible.

        • There's potential, but I'm not sure if MS would add another controller to the lineup just yet.

@XeKToReX: I don't think they will. I suspect the target market of the Elite controllers would complain about Bluetooth latency, if the gaming mouse community is anything to go by.

        • Scorpio controller could likely fit this spec

      • Xboner Controllers

  • God I waited since December last year for it to go on special, missed it at the Microsoft sales, the PBtech guys didn't have stock when they had a sale, I finally caved in a month or two back and bought it at 175 posted and now there has been two deals in like the past couple of weeks. :(

Love my elite controller. Wish sony would do one too.

    • Presumably SCUF Playstation controllers offer a similar level of quality.

      • I haven't played with the SCUF but it doesn't look like it has the same level of quality. However its hard to really compare without having it in hand.

  • wow - I remember when $75 PS3 controllers were considered expensive

  • Aaaaaaand it's gone.
