Amart Sport - Skins A400 Men's Compression Long Tights @ $125.99 Save $54

90

It does sound like a good deal for me. I purchase a pair of these already.
If you are hitting the store and the price tag still has not changed, just ask the staff to check the price for a father's day special. It will come down to $125.99.
Hope this help. :)

  • Not sure if same "SKINS A400 Starlight Long Tights" $96.49 @ Wiggle, also cashback..

    • yep, i found that one as well, but did not buy this one. A couple of reasons for me:

      Need to wait for shipping.
The comments on the "startlight" do not look good enough

so i did not buy from there.
      Cheers

  • Are the eBay and Aliexpress 2XUs able to do the job at 14% of the price?

    • Doubt it, maybe buy smaller size :)

    • Brought a '2XU' compression top from Aliexpress a while ago, I'm quite happy with it.

      • have you been to rebel to compare the material and quality, stitching, thickness, compression strength etc with the real ones? im curious.

        • No I haven't but certainly looks close enough to the real deal, and the fitting is tight enough for my needs.

        • I'm waiting on order delivery from Aliexpress, and I thought $17 was expensive. I bought the smallest size to ensure maximum compression. The $9 generic pants don't look trustworthy in the photo close ups, so I bought one to test if such build quality is worthy to be called compression gear. There are other 2 other different $9 generic styles with different prints that I bought one of each to test their build quality.

        • @lovepeoplenotmoney: same here im waiting for my 3/4 2xu. let see. some local seller on ebay sell at cheaper than official store but when i ask they said "the quality is not the same with product at rebels" what a load of bull. should just report them as selling counterfeit items, you think?

        • @nandystam: thanks. if you happen to visit one of the shopping centre maybe worth to have a look at rebel

        • @eisniwre: I found the $7 2XUs on eBay were counterfeit and had zero compression so I did report that product. I hope you bought better ones because I would be asking for return to save your time.

        • @lovepeoplenotmoney: darn. i bought from aliexpress directly.

I saw one local Ebay seller even says they are not genuine. Ebay don't care.

Sometimes local Ebay sellers have them cheap for 1 or 2 when they have legitimately bought genuine ones but never used them. I've bought a few off Ebay that way. I find 2XU much better quality than skins.

For budget compression I find the Slazenger Bioslyx tights are really well made for the price of $30-$40. I'm not sure whether they still sell them at Big W.

It's always good to have spares even if they're cheaper ones when the others are in the wash.

        • @eisniwre: The common $8 ones are actually really good! I'm going to try double layer to see what the compression is like. The $16 2XUs are also good. How are yours? I'm gonna buy some for working and sleeping in

        • @lovepeoplenotmoney:
ok mine from aliexpress arrived. $13 for 3/4 tight.
well, it is fake. basically just normal tight made material with 2xu logo printed.
no compression whatsoever, and one thread/stitching was came out after just one hour exercise.
          please people, dont buy fake.

        • @eisniwre: Can you paste a link? Did you order the smallest size?

        • @lovepeoplenotmoney: just search 2xu there are hundreds sellers just pick the cheapest with good feedback they are all selling the same thing i belive.
i ordered s. its not about smaller will give compression effect but from the materials you can know it is just normal tight materials.
well im comparing with original MCS elite 2xu shorts.

        • @eisniwre: I'll go into a 2XU shop to actually see the genuine product for comparison because on Aliexpress, the same materials claimed to be used

        • @lovepeoplenotmoney: nah, impossible. even if they are just normal 2xu not mcs model, from how the thread/stitching that came loose literally just after one hour usage, and the thinness of the material, printing logo, i am not convinced.

by the way, i highly recommend 2xu mcs elite models. just touch and feel them at rebel you will know why.

      • Nandy which Aliexpress seller did you buy it from?

        • The store is no longer on Aliexpress, sorry.

I bought Aldi 'Compression' tights maybe 3 years ago for $15 each. Bought about 8 of them. Still going strong.

    • +2

Aldi compression stuff is legitimately really good.
I used to buy Skins (as all the cheaper ones I tried were crap), until I tried Aldi's compression stuff. Haven't bought any other brand since.

The 1st one or the 8th one?

      • None of them have lost their elasticity or tightness. I wear these mainly during weight lifting and one has developed small holes on the knees where the knurling on the deadlift bar has scratched the garment repeatedly over time.

        • Yeah easy to tear, compression tights need to be worn underneath if you constantly touch rough surfaces, the only time you wear just the tights are when only wind and water are touching you

        • @lovepeoplenotmoney: you can also wear it out when you are the meet market!

    • I am surprised…
Are they still available from Aldi??
      I think I will go get them…

      • They're at Aldi every few months.

    • Obviously not for you Kim :)

there is size XXL if he wants.
i still believe they works. but need to be tight.

        • i think it will not improve the performance, but it is good for keeping warm and good protection.
Anyway, i find it support my knee pretty good, so i am happy with it.I got knee injuries before.

        • We will know when we find compression gear that actually have compression haha. Keep me posted when your orders arrive

        • @pingpongball: Compression gear help with chaffing because your thighs slide past each other, same as your tricep past your lattissimus dorsi; and sweat is wicked away. Increased spatial-position awareness seems to be a good benefit. I'm looking forward to compression gear tight enough to prevent muscle jiggling. Wraps are used for the same principle in boxing. Passive recovery is the benefit I'm wanting too because the recovery during sleep is crucial.

    • The need to understand and experiment is warranted. But I agree about not wasting your money. The sports industry are profiting selling these when manufacture costs so cheap. I wonder if these marketing companies offer refunds for failed results?
