What is it like dimmed? Thinking of general workbench tasks.
You can manually set the brightness/dim (between 200 and 4 lumens). It is more spot than broad, so it depends on your need.

Its got a spot LED and a flood LED - both can be dimmed significantly. Great for workbench tasks. Im very happy with mine.
Claims 200 lumens, 80 hours on high, 3xAAA.
That's beyond ridiculous. More like one hour at that power level.
80 hours from AAA is around 10mA. Two lumens if you are lucky. Enough for fishing I suppose.
If it needs 3xAAA, it probably just has the cheapest regulator (better torches use 2xAA with boost converter).
Does not state what emitter, so its a cheapie.
COTD had the LED lender SEO 3 for about $12 and the SEO 5 for $15 during some sales. Gone now though.
This is a great head lamp! It is also ipx-8 water rating. A lot around this price will be ipx-4.
