Please update title to $66, unless there is actually a way to get it for $60

Is the popcorn and drink unlimited?

      Buy in the cinema…

Is the popcorn and drink unlimited?

It's limited by the number of times you wanna get out of your seat

Someone please tell me what the differe3nce between lux and gold class is? Thx.

    • +1

Some LUX cinemas aren't dedicated cinemas (ie the LUX seats are at the back of a standard cinema, still walled off from the rest)
Gold Class here has electric reclining seats, LUX here doesn't (but bigger seats than normal)
LUX includes popcorn and soft drink, Gold Class doesn't

Both options are great for a date night :)

      Gold Class is at Village

  • Is it possible to get the ticket other then online to advoid the online fees?

      Yes, at the Box Office

Optus perks is cheaper at $ 25/ticket and the last time I checked, is valid for weekends.

    • Still excludes after 5pm on Saturdays
Adding BF to Perks is $28/ticket

      • Boyfriend?

Could be, or could be Booking Fee. Take your pick!

      • Nah dood, I just did a dummy booking for Sunday arvo session at Melbourne Central, $ 25/ticket net, no booking fee or any surcharge for LUX cinema. This is through Optus Perks.

        • Fair enough, I was just going off the site

What movie sessions can I see with this offer?
You can go to any standard screenings. There is a $3 booking fee for HOYTS LUX screenings. Surcharges may apply for upgrades such as 3D and Xtreme Screen. Recliner seats have been installed in selected HOYTS cinemas, an additional $3 will be charged for Perks tickets to these recliner cinemas. Adult and kids tickets can be used anytime, except after 5pm on Saturdays. There are no additional fees for credit cards. No further concessions or discounts are available with this offer.

  • Is there any way you can avoid the fees?

thats the beauty of a forum i dont have to skim the etire thing.. easier to just ask and wait for some shmuk to answer lol

    • If so, it would be a good deal.

But correct me if I'm wrong, this deal is for 2 x cinema tickets, including soft drink and popcorn, for $66? And it excludes Fridays and Saturdays?!

To me, this is crazy pricing.

As a comparison, Southbank 5 in Brisbane is $8.50 for adults at the weekend. True, you aren't partitioned off from everyone else. You can't order food and drinks. And you have to pay for your popcorn…….

edit- after doing a google search it seems that our local isn't the best comparator! lol.

      • Please don't compare standard cinema prices to this deal.

That's like someone putting up a deal for Business Class airfares, and trying to compare them to Economy. Or a deal for Mercedes, and comparing to a Hyundai.

If you get ur mum to make u popcorn before then its free too LoL

        • No, she charges me $1 each time I ask for popcorn.

Wow. The business class description is making me want to try this deal!!!!

oh, hang on a minute. No it isn't.

        • @clandestino:

I guess sitting at home watching free Google Play movies is also a romantic night for you then? Using Telstra Air of course.

  • Used to be $11 per ticket using optus rewards. Now it's $25 lol

    • Don't you mean it used to be $20?

      • No, lux in wetheril Park was charging $11… Just like a normal ticket

K, you appeared to be talking more general rather than 1 specific cinema
