  • Thx for sharing!

  • Not a bad deal, but you'd have to find a cheap flight to KL to make it worthwhile…

  • Great deal, OP. Thanks for posting.
It is their "Deal of the day" … so they are making it hard for people who need to think a bit first.

It's shoulder and off peak time. Peak in the UK is northern hemisphere summer not our summer. There's a black out from Dec 20 to Jan 10 so outside the Christmas and New Year peak periods too.

  • doesn't deals have to be from Aus? what stops a cheap flight from Serbia to Washington from being posted here? possibilities are endless

To be fair - a lot of people transit KUL from Australia (Or NZ where i'm posting from). I'd argue Kuala Lumpur to London, a main route, is a lot of relevant than Serbia to Washington.

Thanks OP, managed to get KUL-LHR for $340 NZD mid December, will be flying from Bali which will add $100NZD on Air Asia so will be $440 compared to $600NZD we were going to pay tonight on another airline. Just in time!

    • How come kiwis (nz based) use this site? Generously interested.

      • A lot of deals applicable to Australia from international sites (Amazon) or Australian stores ship to NZ. Also similar exchange rates for international deals mean prices are easy to work out.

I'm also a member of the NZ equivalent of OzBargain run by the same team as here (ChoiceCheapies) but the site doesn't yet have the same size user base for sourcing deals as OzBargain.

Chur chur cuz. Hope ChoiceCheapies takes off… agree that it's not hard to use this site for comparisons ;)
I remember when The Warehouse was first opened in Wlgn… oh the excitment of a cheap deal.

  • Missed out but just FYI a return flight from MEL-London will get you almost enough points for a one way flight between MEL and KL. I spent $50 on extra points to nab myself a MEL-KL and wouldn't have needed to if I had redeemed during a sale period for point redemptions.
