250 verbatim discs so far and I've only had one dud (which easily could have been because of my burner)

But what about LG ones?
LG are pretty mediocre - in no way comparable to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. But for burns you don't care that much about they're ok. Unlike Laser branded discs which we should all stay away from.
Laser discs are really crappy, and if the data you are going to burn is worthless to you or a one off, I doubt you would run into 300 occasions of one off discs that you chuck away after one use.
Are these discs any good, as its not a bad price for 6 spindles ?
