2 grand for a macbook with those specs…..
13.3 inch
i5 dual core
8gb ram
256gb ssd
I cant seem to justify 2 grand for a mac of those specsit is expensive yet a iphone 6s is around $1400 so when compared to a phone it's amazing value yet still expensive
Comparing overpriced products with another. Great!
Yeah I don't think this is a good deal was just pointing out the fact people complain about certain prices when a lot of those same people spend a massive amount on a phone and upgrade each year. If the ps4 was $1000 but had a really good gpu people would have raged but the ps4 is quite underpowered to begin with. Those same people are happy to spend that same amount on a phone but not on a home console which brings arcade power to the home.
I used to think this way.
Then late 2013 I went out and purchased a MBP
Almost 3 years later it runs almost as fast as the day I bought it, I haven't had to mess around with it for lengths on end and generally it has never missed a beat.
Sure, it was more expensive to start with, and the accessories are horrendously expensive, but I would not hesitate to purchase another.
The only real noticeable reduction after 3 years of use has been a 9hr battery life reducing to about 6hr.
I've finished its 3rd year of asset depreciation so could purchase another one but honestly why would I - this thing still runs sweet as.
I agree jmoore626 when I first bought my MBP it was expensive by comparison but at the time there wasn't anything on the market with battery life to match. 4 1/2 yrs later it's still running like new. In the long run it has actually worked out cheaper. especially with the free training and support.
Yea it's people who have no clue about macbooks/apple that cry about the price. If it doesn't suit then don't buy it, otherwise it's probably the best hardware/software combo on the market that will last you a very long time.
Let me know where I can get a macbook cheaper then thanks.
