Nikon AW1 Camera (New) $416.76 @ GraysOnline eBay

80
CHOICE20

Has been on sale for cheaper via JB HiFi, but that was demo stock. This is brand new. Don't forget cashrewards. I am going overseas soon, so will also hopefully be able to claim TRS (so for me should be getting close to $360). There is currently a $100 cashback on the AW1 as well but sadly GraysOnline don't appear to be on the list of official authorised resellers…… if could claim that as well this would be fantastic….. ;-)

Be aware that there are a lot of people out there who have had issues with leaks - if you get one of these, I would recommend being obsessive about keeping the seals totally clean and greased before taking into water.

  • How about ask Ted's to Price Match? I suppose Ted's is on the CB list.

Edited: Ted's is definitely on the list :D. If other retailers won't price match, try contact Camera Electronics.
Last time I got my Fuji X-T10 pricematched quite happily, then the Cashback went to my account today.

    • Ted's is definitely on the list, and a good idea, but they may not match the price after the eBay discount ie they may match the $520.95, so after the $100 refund the total cost would be $420.95 which is not as good…..

      • So try Camera Electronics Perth. They matched my Fuji X-T10 which was discounted from $1400 to $1120 on Ted's eBay, whereas Ted's local store refused to pricematch their eBay Store (WTF). Eventually I paid just $1120 with freeshipping via Paypal, and claimed the $200 cashback. It is worth asking b4 placing the order, they replied very quickly.

Why would you not be able to?

    • Should be fine, as long as the invoice has the ABN etc details on it, which again should be there from Grays.

      • Cool. Enjoy your holiday. Visiting the space station?

Thanks, and nah - leaving that in orbit for the moment. You simply would not believe how much dilithium crystals cost nowadays.

  • Love mine, absolute steal.

  • does this mean a new version is on the horizon?

    • Would be nice, but I doubt it. If it does happen, then it will probably be released at the $1k mark (which was the original RRP for this)

  • Well, the camera arrived this afternoon. Pretty fast shipping which was good. It looked like the box had been opened at some time, but it's always possible that was done some time ago to add in the Australian power adapter for the charger. Just in case, I took a photo and checked the shutter count (https://www.camerashuttercount.com/) and it came up as "1" so it was definitely new. Only slightly annoying thing is the tax invoice from Grays showed the price after the eBay discount ($416.76) rather than $520.95, so I won't get back quite as much via TRS. Still, taking into account the original RRP it was a pretty good deal.
