Does switch driver mean that the thing is ratcheted so your turns are amplified?
Ratcheted != geared.
It is ratcheted, but it's not like the Kobold double drive ratchet mechanism you mentioned. In this case, switch drive means that the handle can be turned 90 degrees so it looks like a T. It can be used like a T-handle ratcheting screwdriver, or with a mechanism that reminds me of a Transformer toy, can be used like a standard straight handled screwdriver.
I thought this was the rubber for you to insert your tool.
How much is this normally?
I saw this for the same price at Bunnungs Mile End in SA. There were dozens of them available. They were a bit tough to spot, in one of the displays near the front wall near the $19 Stanley 41 screwdriver set.
Not really a deal, nothing special and not even discounted.
Why was it even posted? Does the OP think it's exciting in some way?
