Potentially… there is lots of talk about a new MBP… which if nothing else might put the current gen MBP lower priced and be a better buy.
Personally if you don't need it right now I would wait for a potential update (which will mean the model it replaces will be on runout prices).

The only equivalent is the Macbook Pro 15" - RRP $3100.
Wouldn't a SP4 only have a dual core i7? If that's the case, then a Macbook Pro 13 inch should be similar specced with the i7 and 16gb ram from Apple
Yep, you're right. I missed that configuration.
At RRP of $3,439 for the 13" i7 MBP, makes all the more reason for to stick with the SP4.
