Definitely not a bargain for the 5000mah, may as well take it out of the post when local stock has just been put up cheaper…

  • Anyone know a good price on the 20000mah i see it at about $60 anyone seen it cheaper online

  • do they come with a Security Code to confirm original ?

    • +1

I suppose if they don't, just claim through PayPal for counterfeit goods.

    • +1

If you hit the Review tab on each corresponding item website link, there are videos and pictures uploaded by various purchasers. By my understanding, there is a security code provided for the confirmation of originality.

Found xmbp10 code also works with 10000mAh bothway Quickcharge 2.0 discount to 38.21 aud

    • Maybe you could make a new post for it?

  • I bought a 10000mA today of eBay just for the sake of quick delivery.

What will be about $10 difference I get it in a couple of days instead of 4-5 weeks.

US to AU dollar cost is NEVER going to be just the plain exchange rate conversion.

    Paid $32.50 eBay locally.

Waiting for the 10000mAh to go back down to sub 12USD like in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/258496 and https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/259638

Most sites have stopped shipping batteries from China, doubt this one will be delivered

    • +1

I have received a message that my order has been dispatched. Unsure if it is the same for everyone else.

    • That explains why i havent received power banks from 3 different sellers Gearbest,Banggood and Dx Extreme.
      Customs are blocking it.

      • Customs are a joke.
They just sit around playing Pokemongo all day with their free power banks.

      • i have yet to receive my powerbank from aug 1, whats the refund process like with banggood?

  • +1

has anyone in melbourne bought these? how long did it take to ship? i'm going camping in 6 weeks. need to know if it will come in time

    • It's like buying stuff from eBay from China. So like a couple of weeks.

  • anyone who paid for the tracking able to give us an update? (and the date it lists as shipped)

I'd ask for the tracking number, but probs a bit intrusive.

    • Got mine today, purchased on the day I posted this deal.

      • damn, that was quick! so that's a week! and you only used free shipping? wow

For all my non express orders from BG, it takes about 3 weeks (syd). Express is about 8 days.

        • Air Parcel Register for the 20,000mAh unit is free while a fee applies for the 10,000mAh and 5,000mAh.

        • @deal junkie: ahh ok, in that case ill be waiting a while. I just did the default with the 10k mah

        • @Davo1111: Hope you get it soon…!

      • Good outcome. Just haggling with them now for a refund over a purchase of a 20000mAh unit 5 weeks ago.

  • i made a purchase from their site on aug 1 and still have not received my item. whats the process of asking for a refund? has anyone dealt with them before with similar problems?

    • Made a purchase on 18 July. Still not in hand. After a very long web chat they have refunded my money. I started to lose it when they pushed for me to wait 35 business days. So their delivery is very haphazard. Someone above received their goods a week after purchase.

      • maybe it might be worthwhile to get a tracking number on it…. but i've experienced this with 3 chinese websites, geekbuying, everbuying and now banggood. probably best just to buy aus stock

        • I never used to have a problem receiving all sorts of stuff from all over the world. But my last 4 powerbank orders from 3 different chinese websites havent arrived. I believe its Australian Customs blocking it. Articles which are not lithium batteries should get through fine i beieve.

        • Tracking shows it leaving China not long after purchase. Number isn't trackable on AustPost. When someone reports delivery within 7 days something fishy is going on. Regardless, to give BG credit they refunded the purchase. Ultimately picked up the 10000mAh that is/was on special at Geardo for ~$45 with free express delivery.

        • @techno2000: Yeah, might expend some time today and phone them to see if there is any particular reason.

        • @techno2000:

Yep, big issues over power banks lately

        • @Spackbace: Geardo delivery (Brisbane) today for an order placed Wednesday night.

        • @5cooter:

Yeah theyre the exception coz they're already in the country, I meant customs ;)

        • @Spackbace: Yeah, correct. Shoulda been a little clearer. That's why I went with them too. Haven't had the chance to contact Customs today but I will try next week.

        • @techno2000: This is the info i got from dx.com

We're very sorry to inform you that your package xxxxx from order xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx has been returned to us as it failed to pass the customs security check.
We were constantly trying different shipping companies to deliver your package, but unfortunately, since the airlines recently implemented an unprecedented strict control policy for battery product, the delivery hasn’t been possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it has caused you.

        • @techno2000:
          Ok…..Just an update.
I successfully received my Bangood order a couple of days back.
Arrived a month after i ordered it which is pretty good.
I had taken the "Air parcel register" option which usually costs a few dollars more than the free option but is also free if the value of item is more than $40.

The previous bangood order which was the free shipping did not arrive and was refunded.
Did not receive powerbank from gearbest and DX.com as well.

  • would you guys recommend the 10,000 pro over the 20,000? im still indecisive about which one to buy

  • 10000 arrived today

    • Which date did you order it? Thanks

      • 19th from memory
