Virgin Airlines are having a 24 hour sale for a variety of destinations.
Example: Sydney to Los Angeles from $990 return (15 Jan 2017 - 23 Mar 2017).

Bit disappointed TBH. Waited up til midnight then the fare dates were very restricted. Just two months next year.
Oh and the fares I had been looking at in October have actually gone up quite a bit.
The website is horrible though, just fully overloaded

Why there's never sales for Business Class?
I'd imagine because people who fly business class are inherently less price sensitive.
$159 Syd to Perth is pretty good for a FULL SERVICE airline.
Slightly off topic, I have a swag of Virgin FF miles. Does anyone have a suggestion for a destination that I can use them on that won't cost me an 'arm and a leg' for food and accommodation? Originating in Sydney, but willing to leapfrog.
Where is it 159? I am looking at a PER->SYD return but cant find anything less than $199.
