Yes normally that's how it works.. but dont think it was like that this time.. eBay totally removed it on behalf of DS.
If it was resolved via DS and the buyer with a revised request the buyer can edit the original feedback and its comes up listed as revised.
You even get a Revised Feedback: count but its still showing at 0
And none of the positives on the feedback under that account show as being revised.
Wanted to get a Philips SHB5500 headphone but wanted to make sure it is a local oz stock. Got a confirmation from Dicksmith saying that it is and has a 12mths local manufacturer warranty. After discount it is $60. May not be the cheapest in ozbargain's history (the cheapest ever is $52) but still pretty good.
We should teach them a lesson - let's just ban anything Kogan related, they don't deserve to get free advertising on this platform.
If I was a shareholder I would he pissed at this scam sale.
What a load of shite! Such terrible sales tactics, immoral and just wrong…
Luckily we are not dumb enough to invest in kogan.
Prices on some of the Canon lenses are pretty awesome. But can anyone confirm whether these are Grey imports or local stock?
Item location:
Melbourne, VIC, Australia
But it states "This product is an international model and may differ slightly from local models. We have no affiliation with the manufacturer."
And under Warranty terms ;"This product is BRAND NEW and comes with a 12 month Australia wide warranty. In the unlikely event that you require a warranty repair, we will collect your item, repair or replace it, then return it you at no charge. It is a requirement of warranty that you keep the original packaging for transportation."
What are everyone's thoughts?
just remember, they dont have local stock. That's it. All warranty is kogan warranty. However, lens normally have international warranty. So you might be able to get a hold on Canon Australia to fix. But if they want you to go through Kogan, then it will be Kogan's "Specialist" repair rather than Canon.
Neg +1 (not sure why my neg got removed)
this is an old sales trick, buyer beware and if you want to part with your money then thats on you. do research before you buy. I always stay away from Kogan anyway.. think of a word that rhymes with Kogan, you get the drift.

Hi, newbie here but long time reader… I've seen a camera i'd like to get from this deal. Problem is, it's based in Hong Kong and is over $1000. Guess it's Kogan stock. So, want to know if I will get charged import duty / GST as it's over $1000. With the deal it's below $1000, but guess customs don't care about that. Have contacted DickSmith but now answer…
Just about to pull the trigger on a macbook which is down to about $1500 from $1980 which is very cheap! Any reason why i shouldn't buy it now? i presume warranty is covered from apple as it doesn't matter where the item was bought as far as they are concerned?
Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (128GB, Wi-Fi, Silver) - AU $1,114.40
That's nearly $400 off the RRP (1,499.00)
What am I missing here? It feels too good to be true..

Their rating was 75% but after the negative comment dicky cancelled the ordered and the buyer requested eBay to remove the negative comment as the dispute was resolved. http://bit.ly/2ba1CoB
