One is a road bike with a carbon fiber fork & the other is a hybrid with a steel fork.

it's a different style of bike and shouldn't be compared anyway
some of the basic specs (good vs cheap) are immediately quite different (no more clues here but someone else already mentioned)
all the guys dismissing the Aldi bike last time without even looking got slammed down
I have this bike and use this for commuting. It's pretty good.
