      the price for the carry over combo is $14 Aud plus $5 for postage and handling.

      Of course you can buy the sim from the airport

      but our customers love the fact of getting their SIM cards before they fly so they save time and wont have to wait in Queue

      I went into a convenience store and had to pay a few dollars for the sim as well as a minimum of $20NZD for a recharge, this is a convenient way to have everything organised on arrival.

    Looks good, Jenny - welcome to OzB. A suggestion: often people will want the price in the title (discount applied), plus the cheapest postage option if that's the only way you can buy it. You should be able to amend the post if you're still logged in.

      However, I agree with the comment about sorting it all out now. 2degrees aren't at Auckland airport so this is easier. And they are by a country mile the best telco in NZ. Plus the only telco in NZ or Australia where customer services are based in the country rather than in the Philippines.

        that is true. I went there this year and it was not this cheap. I still chose Spark anyway because it's got the best coverage and I had a lot of driving to do

          Bought two sims. Hope can fit it in iPhone 5s & 6.
          I guess I have to activate both before 11 Sept.?

          I will be travelling in 1st week of Dec. so will the Data and call credit last till 1st week of December or I need to recharge in between.

          Their multi sims so they fit all phones you basically pop them out like a puzzle piece to the size you need, you can also put them back in their original size just like a puzzle piece, in case you wanted to use the SIMs in different phones!

          Yep, all the usage units last for a whole year!

          Just in case it somehow doesn't register the extra 500mb of data before you activate the SIM on September, just let us know and we'll give you an extra Gigabyte for free, we should definitely have data add ons integrated by then!

    So this offer is good for the convenience, but it appears the Big Value Combo from here - https://www.skinny.co.nz/pricing/combos/#combo_monthly is slightly cheaper (by $3 and a few cents for the exchange rate) if you're happy to get it from a shop there.

      I know management is securing data add on agreements with 2 degrees mobile and we should be able to offer it in about 2 weeks.

      If your not travelling anytime soon, you can swing back onto our website and buy a data add on voucher code, which you can then add on top of your mobile number its super easy!

      Or if your going very soon, you can simply top up through 2 degrees, but, we would be able to discount data add ons more than 2 degrees :)

    Got 1 sim. Going to christchurch and queenstown early September.
    It is a late flight and it seems they only hav a vodafone at the airport so decided to get from u guys.
    1gb should be sufficient for a week travel.

          Our customer support member has gotten back to you regarding this issue rest assured you still have the value there it just shows a balance of $0 because as soon as you activate the SIM the Credit is used up to go towards the bundle if that makes sense?

        Monday's my last day and I will most likely not be at home to receive the package. =(

        Plus if you use Australia post…. I definitely DO NOT trust them to post it in a timely manner. I have had very bad experiences with them.

        EDIT: I did click on express postage, and to be honest, NOT WORTH IT (not for the cost,) because I paid 5 times as much to get immigration documents express couriered with Austpost as I needed it overseas in 12 days, they lost it, had no explanation, and when my friend twittered the CEO to let him know so they can help, he blocked her.

        Tell you what, if you're in Vic, I'm happy to "pop by" and pay cash, only to bypass Crapstralia post.

          Were based in Sydney :( so popping in wont be an option unfortunately.

        The typical usage you get with 2 degrees for this carry over combo last for up to a year, you can definitely activate it before 11 of september and still claim your 1 gb of data guys! we have had many customers do this.

    Is there any 2 degrees travel sims with more data? I was looking at the $49 Vodafone with 3Gb dataas it has the best network and I will need a fair bit of data for work emails…

      Just spoke with management, Were finalising data vouchers and exclusive Find My Plan Deals with much more data added on to it.

      For now, you can simply get a 2 degrees Data add on and can top up through their website very quickly! The SIM comes with the number on the back, so you can even top up before even putting the SIM in your phone!
