Hi Ozbargainers, we are having issues on the new server our website is hosted on and it is no liking the volume traffic generated by Ozbargain, if you cannot connect, please come back in 15mins as we are working on the backend to fix this.

Website is stuffed! I chose a product that said total $17, which was only vaguely reasonable at 30% off. At checkout it was $43… WTH.
    Big HARD pass from me.

    • Hey, which product was that? I'll take a look.

      • Armenia, 15 days 3GB.

        • 15 days 3GB is $43. (Or $30 after discount)
          The $17 one is 7 days 1GB

@Platinumtelecom: That may be what you want. But that's not what your website showed me. I saw $17 before trying to checkout. A badly coded website.

            • @BBF: It shows from $17 on the main product page. But I appreciate the feedback, we will look into it

  • Some of the products make no sense.

E.g, "Europe data roaming eSIM (30+ areas) UNLIMITED".

If it's UMLIMITED, then why am I choosing between a 500mb, 1gb, 3gb plan etc.

    • Thanks for the feedback. So once you have used up the daily allowance the speed reduces. It will still be enough to receive messages and emails. So it's not cut off after the daily allowance.

    • It’s called data throtling

$154 for 15 days in Japan, yeah right. Cost me $37 for very similar deal last year with Jetpac.

    • Our Japan esim 180days for 50GB is $91 before discount :-)

      • 50GB @ Jetpac for $47 includes free lounge access if flights delayed and free VPN for 30 days, sorry but cheaper for more.

  • Tell them their dreaming !

I have just returned from Sri Lanka where a Dialog SIM for 30 days with calls, SMS & 20Gb data cost me $8 (at the airport). You want $85 (less the discount) for 20Gb of data - WOW !

    • Yes getting a sim at the airport will always be cheaper. Generally they do take your passport details or ID though. Here we don't ask for any of your IDs. We can also provide you with a local Australian number via our voice pass.

      • For 10 times the price - a massive premium.

        • When I went to India a few years back, I got a local Vodafone sim. But the bureaucracy was astounding. Took a couple of hours do everything, had to find somewhere in town to photocopy my passport, too. They do love their paperwork. 😆 But yeah cheap.

          • @Corgsta: At Colombo airport it took less than 5 minutes to get 2 SIMs, both installed in phones and activated. I did have to hand over passports, but it was quick

            • @Andy01: Sounds easy. Yeah, they need ID, I hate when you hand it over and they take photos with a phone or something.

Going to Vietnam in the next couple of months, wondering about a SIM for there or if I can get one at the aiport. Might ask in the forums.

Has anyone used these guys eSims? Just wondering what their experience was

  • Japan eSeems expensive even after the discount.

  • How does this compare to roamless? I feel roamless is better since the data/credit doesn’t expire whereas here there’s a time limit (eg 30 days) to use it from time activate it. Also roamless seems to much better support especially in states

    • With some eSIMs you have 30 days from the purchase day and with others you have 180days. However we do pride ourselves on support! You can have support via SMS, Whatsapp, live chat and phone and we usually reply within minutes.

  • why is there a box after I pressed Paypay,
Japan Roaming Data eSIM UNLIMITED - 500MB "2" and can go up or down ?
    what is the "2" means?

i need more than 90 days before activation :( miss out the deal again

    • That would be the number of days you have selected. With the unlimited eSIMs they are billed per day, so you have to select how many days

  • one day price is good.. just don't extend to a number of days..

    • Hi, did you get your eSIM, it seems you had written something different before changing it to the above?

      • yes, wrong thread initially.

  • Thanks, got a couple for my business partner and I. We just touched down in Europe and while we haven't had the opportunity to use the data yet, the setup was extremely easy.

    • Thanks for the feedback! Enjoy your trip.
