I've got some of their tools and the ones I got are chrome vanadium steel, not just plain carbon steel, so worth looking at if you are in bunnings.
Valyrian steel or nothing…
Damn most of mine are chrome vanadium. Perhaps I should just give up on collecting tools and go join the nights watch
Adamantium!
Unobtainium!
Diamondillium!
Dildoindabum!
@Fappo:
Not really the sort of tool I'm looking for…Vibranium!
Most of the craftright stuff I've bought has been of pretty low quality, but for this price you can't really go wrong.
Good to keep as a spare.
There's things labelled chrome vanadium steel that are chrome vanadium steel, and there are things labelled chrome vanadium steel that are in fact made from that elusive material 'Chinesium'. Nobody knows exactly where it comes from, but you'll know if you've got it because your tools will either break into a million pieces or bend like rubber.
Truly an amazing substance.
Still cheaper than buying individual bits from your local dollar stores (which are truly disposable)
Great present to give to the people in your lives that you visit and help out with odd jobs around the house (bringing your own tools)
Everyone in my family are getting one of theseAny cable ties?
Looks like theres a small box of 80 rubbish quality screws. Cable ties would've been better.
Actually,8 screws,5 picture frame hooks
& 72 thin nails!!! 😈
Hardly 85 assorted screws 😞
I've used some Craftright tools before and they've been garbage. Even Bunnings staff said they were no good. It's cheap, but not good value.
Thanks for the heads up
It is quite funny that every time I asked Bunnings stuff for a specific item, they will guide and show me the most expensive brand and model they have.
E.g. I am looking for a X which will do Y, they think for 2 or 3 secs then will show me a product Z which cost $100 while next to it the same product of another brand might only cost 50 or 60 and they are of decent quality not those budget brands.
9 out of 10 times.
You must look rich, I've got the opposite
Fancy that, a business looking to make money?!
It's great value for the people who buy a toolset expecting to never use it… Or have no idea how to use the tools anyway.
Does anyone know how much this cost originally?
20 bucks on the bunnnnnnings nz site
Thanks for the reply Franco, no real point buying this then I guess also considering some of the other comments saying that the tools are poor quality.
yeh its not like its a a $50-60+ set or anything. its more or less normal rrp

"adult boys who arent really men"
Lol going in pretty hard on non-DIY guys there. I've seen "real" men who couldnt work out which end of a screwdiver to hold but could play footy like a champion. I've seen homosexuals who are builders, and damn good ones too. Plenty of Lezzos are excellent at DIY and own "real" tools.
It takes all types.I beg to differ on the lezzos. My rental has 4 lezzos (2couples) and the best they can do is complain… they pay the rent and take care of the joint but when its time to do things….
Depends on the Lezzo, I guess.
My local Masters is pretty much a Lezzo club (staff) and they range from friendly truck driver looking ones that could crash tackle you, to cold hearted death-stare bitch ones that will barely respond to a friendly question. There are also some groovy Gen Y tatt ones too.
They all seem to love their tools though, or so I have heard. (cough cought) more tea reverend? They sure can fill a hole, though
@King Tightarse: you didn't by accident stumble into a lezzo porn stage setup.
@Hotkolbas:
Nah just Hawthorn Masters.
Go there early and you should see those Lesbians get stuck into the sausage sizzle.
Its enough to make you wince.@King Tightarse: smithers you are turning me on.
I bet they have a cackle over jaming sausage sizzle in their gobs.
Glad you got a great sense of humour.
I'm an IT specialist and I wouldn't touch Craftright tools with a 10 foot pole.
When you buy junk, you just end up buying it twice. Lesson: don't buy junk.
Tempting, but I know I have one from the recent HN deal lying around somewhere.
My experience with this brand has not been good. Don't buy if you plan to use these tools again.
good tool and cheap
i bought this for my son for a b'day present (he's 5). i wouldn't want to be using it for anything serious. pretty much a toy kit.
Cheaper than their children's tool kit
Just to clarify, your planning to giving your 5yo son a kit containing a 18mm utility knife?
no, just to clarify for you, i took the knife out. thanks for your concern about my parenting from behind your screen.
Plenty of stock at north lakes Bunnings
anyone know if the torpedo lvl included is magnetic? thanks
hell yes, good deal. Assuming it isn't made of junk…
