      To make you feel even worse, it looks like the website selling Woolworths egift cards from last time have 7.5% off, though limited to $100 but you can change the quantity.

        Make sure you read the comments of that last deal - heaps of people got stung by purchasing gift cards that were sent to other's email addresses and they were charged for vouchers they never received. Cashrewards is a safe bet, plus it earns 3 points per $ on Platinum Edge cards so that gets up to 7.5% off anyway.

      Nope, just you can pay with Amex (in the woolworths online purchase portal) for extra Amex points.
      You can use any other card as well, just don't get points.

      Classifies as a grocery shop - so if you have a Platinum edge (which any self-respecting Ozbargain member should) you will get triple rewards points on the gift card purchase.

      Call your bank. Their security department may have block the transaction thinking it was fraud. They consider gift card purchases to be high risk. It happened to me with my Combank cc.

      Yes you can. I do it all the time. Can also buy 3 woolworths milk for $6 to get another 4c off. They are same price as in the supermarket ($2 each)

      Yes you can, just open your app with the gift card added and it will have the card number and pin code which you enter on the eftpos machine.

      Very simple and thats how I do mine every time at Woolworths, big w, Woolies Caltex, etc. :)

          I also use them to purchase iTunes cards when they are discounted at Big W or woolies.
          I then use the iTunes gift cards to fund Netflix.
