Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB (AU Stock + 24mo Manufacturer Warranty) $966.95 Delivered @ Exeltek

60

Exeltek have the Galaxy S7 for $966.95 Delivered. Since it's AU stock with the manufacturer warranty, some stores will be willing to price-beat it. Officeworks did (over the phone), and that brought the price to $918.60 with immediate click-and-collect.

The S7 can definitely be had for cheaper as a grey import, but $918.60 is as low as I could find for stock covered by the 24-month manufacturer warranty at the moment. Lowest reported price was a GoodGuys eBay coupon deal @ $878.40 pick-up a month or so ago, but many people missed out and delivery made it more expensive @ $927.20.

First post, please don't be too ruthless haha

Cheapest I seen was $697.40 delivered from TheGoodGuys in the middle of March, which I jumped on.

Sorry, just not sure if $996 is such a great deal at this point.
The Note 7 will be out in 2-3 weeks, which will probably knock the price of an S7 and S7 Edge down a little as well I'd imagine.

    • That woud've been such a good deal for a new flagship phone.

I was sitting on the border for too long on the S7 and couldn't decide. In the end, they sold out during TGG deal and I got a Xiaomi Mi Note Pro instead.

697.40 …..WTF…..i missed that deal, now i just need to jump from the window

I don't think the phone has ever been that price from an AUstralian retailer with aussie stock (and not grey imported)

        • +1

Yeah he says $700 from GoodGuys, but my ass. During March I'd say the retail price was $1000 or above… Half priced my butt, otherwise he found a glitch.

        • @StoneSin: Jeez, calm down… lol.

Apologies for the confusion to anyone - I mixed up two invoices and I can't seem to edit my original post now..

I bought a Samsung TV and an S7 from TGG within two days of each other and when I went back through my emails before my original post, I mixed up the two invoices!

It worked out $927 on March 13th with the 20% off eBay deal via TGG.

I still stand by my other point regarding the Note 7 release coming soon though, that may impact pricing here.

        • @Deviner: References to my butt weren't in anger. Just disbelief :P

        • @StoneSin: Hahah no worries. :)

Before I call you a liar, can you please link me the deal that had the s7 for that price?

The phone came out in March and retailed for $1050, so my guess is you are probably talking about the s6.

I remember there being an excellent s7 deal in March from the good guys, but I can't remember the price.

Would you be able to link me to the $697.40 deal? I ctrl+F searched that price using the ozbargain search but it didn't come up :(

(not disputing that it happened, just trying to do better research in the future haha)

I'm assuming $697.4 is a typo unless you popped two pills before coming on here.

      • two pills of what? i want them !!!

    • thats even better than the Kogan deal from last ebay 20% off deal. Granted that its even cheaper now if you have price protection.

    • Middle of march? S7 was released pretty much middle of march 2016.

And retailed for almost 1k. You must be mistaken or something.

Why would any store have such heavy discount for a newly released phone?

      edit: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/238448

This was the sale in mid March for S7 32GB from the Good Guys with eBay deal.

      $928

    • I think there's an Ozbargain lynch mob forming that would like you to produce a receipt ;-) Typical Ozbargain lately.

      • It's such a nice day out, I think I'll take the window… ! :)

        • kudos for the comedy

  • Ruthless, my style as a juvenile ~~
Good post OP, bit dear though.

Got one for the wife last month from TGG using the eBay coupon for less than $900.

    • The deal you mention: is that the one I reference in my post @ $878? Again, just trying to do good background research :)

      • Ye that's the one but i had it delivered. Good phone I've been told. I'm waiting for the edge to get cheaper so maybe early next year I can pull out a loan and get one.

  • +4

Yeah sorry OP I wont neg you but that is s sh!t price.
I am waiting for $700 or less for that model.

    • Have fun waiting another 6-8 months. :)

      • Wont be that long based on previous price drop cycles and its already dipped under $700 in March as stated above at the GG but I missed the deal. Aussie dollah is OK, relatively speaking. That as my only concern when the S7 was released.
Wont be too long at all now I would guess.

The phone is readily available @ less than $700 if you're happy to bail on the manufacturer warranty. IIRC, Android Enjoyed has the best of the grey market deals atm (it's just under $700 delivered)

  • Just no.

  • Don't for get Optus have the phone for $65 a month, 7gb data and unlimited calls. Might be better for some

    • That's what I got.

    • Yep, my partner is on that deal. My employer pays for my SIM, so an outright purchase was the right choice for me personally :)

  • -2

yeah crazy if anyone buy it now at this price.
    no deal!~

    next…
