2x McDonald's Cheeseburgers for $3 (Participating Stores in NSW & ACT Only)

1070

It looks like Maccas is offering 2x Cheeseburgers for $3 - A good deal if you ask me.

It comes close to the mighty $2 'Mcdouble' of old.

Enjoy.

    YUM!
Lunch & Dinner Sorted till 31/07/16

  • Must show email instore to receive offer. Since cheeseburgers are normally $2.85 it's a pretty good deal!

    • email has a "view it online" link, that should be sufficient.

      • Absolutely :)

        • Sorry are we saying that we needed an email with this information on it?

Can't just flash the screenshot/link in the top right of this page?

        • @jellykingdom: I'm just saying that if you simply ask for 2 cheeseburgers for $3, you likely won't get it. You'll just need to show the email (which has an online version as linked) in store :-)

        Phone is fine?

        • +2

          Phone is fine.

  • I believe extra 10:1 patties are roughly 40 cents each. So you could get these 2 cheeseburgers for $3 and get 2 extra patties for ~80c, so that'll get you 2 McDoubles @$2 or less each

    • 90c each for 10:1 at low price stores and higher tier stores have upped their price to $1.20 each

      • +1

Damn that shot up quick. The prices I quoted were accurate approximately 3 years ago when I was working there

    • +2

What ratio is that referring to? Cardboard to dog meat?

      • 10 patties to 1 pound of beef

  • +4

    ACT is also included.

    • -6

What is an ACT and why do they want to be included? :)

    • ACT is fine.

  • -7

Only participating stores across NSW and ACT

    Northmead store didnt honour it.

  • +4

    OP username checks out.

  • Anyone know if maccas ever publishes a list of participating restaurants?

    Thank you!
You have been unsubscribed from this publication.

    Oops. Sorry OP.

    • I had already unsubscribed OP.

  • Gone are the days of the dollar cheeseburgers 😢

  • Wow something at McDonald's that is cheaper than HJ. Oh wait I can get these for free at HJ.

    • Free? Not exactly, you'll have to do a feedback process and then you would have to buy something in order to get the free cheeseburger.

      • +1

FYI there is a generic code and they don't make you buy anything. If they did you could redeem it with a free shake'n'win prize.

  • any one know how much a normal cheeseburger cost at maccas now?

I know HJ always have $3.95 voucher for 2 and free bbq cheeseburger with a survey

Worked in Mitchell ACT after discussion with manager.

  • I've re-uploaded this without the 'NSW/ACT Only' bit here. Comment below if it works for you.

So what's the deal …..cheaper burgers you but drink and fries, or free water …….bring back the $5 small Mac meal ……..same at HJ 2 whoppers but no deal on chips or drink …… just do cheap whopper meals …….. what economists and psychologists are modelling this stuff ……" if you drop the price of a cheese burger by 80c you make profit on drink and fries ……"

Like cheap eneloop and expensive postage

I'm sure if I could decipher your post I would agree

    • +4

It's meant to be used in conjunction with the $1 KFC chips deal.

C'mon now, you shouldn't need someone to tell you that.

      • -1

problem is by the time I get the kfc chips to maccas the chips are cold or the burger to maccas the burger is cold….. but it is a way to get free ketchup and water at maccas so you can have ketchup on the kfc chips and not pay kfc as they charge for ketchup ….. and they sell bottle water .

        • Then go to KFC and Maccas that are next door to each other ?? Loads like that around Sydney

        • @billyb67: Time to play spot the Ozbargainers gobbling KFC chips in Maccas, or Cheesburgers in KFC.

Gobbling, because they'll be going cold!

Think I'll stick the MBMM and get two extra cheesburgers to poison the dog.

I'd rather spend $5 on a T bone steak and 6-8 min to cook it than spend $3 on this garbage from maccas. But very occasionally will feel so lazy that I buy this junk, so up-voted nonetheless, but tonight it's T bone steak for me :)

    • That's why they have drive thru. For lazy ppl that can't even be bothered leaving their car

      • +4

For lazy ppl that can't even be bothered leaving their car

I still reckon there should be a service where, for an extra couple of bucks, they feed it to you through the window as well.

        • +1

it's called aged care when they feed you and you are an adult.

        • @garage sale: and they assist your back end too

    • maccas is lunch and dinner if away from home, but yes maccas isn't a cheap meal compared to alternatives if you pay their normal menu price.

best bang per Buck when away from home seems to be dominos and their $5 value pizzas …..

      • But it's quick to park, buy, eat & get out, so you can get back to work fast and hasten the flow-rate of money to the offshore accounts of the rich. It's just what's important in life, really.

Great deal, even better when they give you 3 cheeseburgers by mistake LOL

  • i have to take the pic with me next time. i went today and they looked at me and said never heard of such a thing.

Hey guys just got rejected at rosehill nsw after flashing the email, manager was a real prick about it saying she has not seen or heard about it and that they were not a participating store.
