  • Fix your link - it's currently got your session details in it which are timing out

  • Have fixed it now…there are other batteries (not just 9volts) available too.

Just have to search as the 'search' link i had posted comes up as a broken link for others.

  • Annnnnnnnd its gone….i think.

    • depends on the area … plenty left at keysborough last I checked. These arent alkaline either but noticed they are also on 'special' meaning not really.

  • What like are the Panasonic ones,i normally but others from bunnings not panasonic but other brand german ones which are up there in top batteries to get.
But looking to get these for a baby swing which also plays music it says on details low drain items?
What sort of things would then mean?
No point in buying these if they did not last even if much cheaper.

    • I bought a few packs of the AA for my camera, they last approx 5 shots and there dead.

      • +1

5 shots, better than me these days.

In my younger days, I could go on and on and on.

These days, 1 shot and I'm nodding off.

  • around 3 bucks people:

    2x 9v - less than 6 bucks

Add a few bucks more for a charger.
Sure, won't replace every instance of 9V battery on the planet, but if you are an occasional user of 9V devices (like I am) then it's good enough. Without the needless waste. For AA and AAA I'd look into the various Panasonic eneloop bundles on Amazon (that come with the Advanced charger, not the cheap-n-nasty dumb ones we once had to live with at these budget prices in the past). A simple travel adaptor is all that's needed to run those chargers here ($1 on ebay if you haven't already got one). Most people today don't need disposables.

300mAh - Half the juice of a rechargeable AAA! What are they good for?

      • 9V batteries have tiny cells stacked to get 9V (or close enough to it); less capacity than a Ni-MH AAA cell is normal but we are not comparing the same voltage. They are good for most items that take 9V batteries. I have an infrared thermometer that takes 9V. I use one there.

  • The ones i was after is d size for kids swing cant see these last long on that?

    • +1

If you aleady have rechargeables you could consider:
      1xAA into D adapter: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Plastic-AA-to-D-Size-Cell-Battery…
2xAA into D adapter: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Home-Useful-2-Holes-AA-to-D-S… (if longer runtimes are more desirable and you have enough rechargeables)

      If not, please ignore.

      • I do have eneloop battery's and these d eneloop adaptors not tried yet will a aa battery work as good as a d battery though or just not last as long?
Not seen ones where it takes two aa battery's though.

        • will a aa battery work as good as a d battery though or just not last as long?

Yes, basically that's right. Most devices that take D size should be fine with them. Will probably get less runtimes though but try them and see. If runtimes are a concern and you have enough rechargeables, I'd get the 2xAA adapters.

  • Still find it humourous that "Heavy duty" are the crappiest batteries you can buy. (except those blue Evereadys)

  • Not another ZnC 'deal.'
    DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!

  • Limit range at Caroline Springs..NO eneloop's

    • Yep, I did Eneloops on click and collect at Burnside store 2 days ago and got a call today that they do not have stock and that I will get a refund in 3-5 business days.

  • I thought I was lucky as I needed some 9V and AAA batteries. Ordered click and collect - and got cancelled today :-( . Off to Bunnings to buy them full price and some other stuff I need.

    • I thought I was lucky

      You are!

      got cancelled today
