Copypasta:

24Ah Powerpack back at $169 for everyone (not just eBay Plus or Zip payment users). delivery jacked by $2.90 though.

ATL was $149 + delivery, that was Zip pay only though.

Copypasta:

Excludes WA Remote.

all time low (by $5) back again. available to all users.

the rest is copypasta..

price on this changes every 12-24 hours.

originally saw it being posted on Ozb for $199 + delivery months ago and have reposted it a few times with lowest being $179 + Delivery but those were [eBay Plus] or [Afterpay] only.

this is an all time low BUT they jacked delivery price up by $5 to $20 (was $15 before).

so you really should see it as $5 cheaper than previous ATL not $10.

some previous comments said 4WDSupacentre was happy to price match eBay with current code if you called them and Click & Collected from one of their stores.

I got the 12Ah one as my 2nd powerbank. main negative is 4 lights solid on doesn’t mean 100% charged.
I bought the cheapest USB-C tester from Amazon and checked 30 mins after 4 lights solid on it dropped to 0w so 100%. so I think the 24Ah will be 100% around 1 hour after the 4th light is solid on.

also 12Ah charges in reasonable time at 45w but this 24Ah charges at the same speed so it will take 7 to 8 hours. not good but I guess you can time a overnight charge or if charging from 50% it will be quicker.

How do you know this is an ATL?

(Serious question, they change their prices daily, and ebay deals often stack)

This is exactly why I started PriceWatcher(pricewatcher.au) and track 4WD Supacentre(pricewatcher.au) as a specific store.

      • nice, I get that it's their marketing tactic but it is annoying with the constantly changing prices.

At least if you miss one, it will come back around.

        • Yeah it is a bit annoying and just shows how often it goes down to an "Lowest Price Ever" they keep saying in their emails.

      • Thank you, saves me tracking prices via my own spreadsheet.

    • How do you know this is an ATL?

just going by ozb posts. someone posted it first for $199 + delivery first. then I bought the 12Ah version so I was keeping an eye on that price and noticed when the 24Ah was cheaper, so posted it at $189, $179, $169. the history is all their on ozb which I thought was useful.

I didn't know pricewatcher was a thing other than camels for amazon. so I thought there was no real way of knowing the true ATL. but now there's pricewatcher which makes things easier.

yeah I know they change their price every 24 hours. also back when I was checking they would have multiple listings for just the one product. so only one listing is usually the cheapest, or slightly more expensive but one eBay code can apply making it the cheapest.

      ebay deals often stack

yeah I know about that but not ime anymore. I bought my Dyson V7 vacuum years ago by stacking multiple eBay codes, paid like $227 or something click and collect from Binglee. this was early on so standard sale price was around $349.

  • This post made my dyslexia hurt

  • Says $269.

It is frequently $169, according to PriceWatcher(pricewatcher.au). Since I've been tracking since Jan this year, its been $169 4 times.

    • Awesome website. How do you actually track the prices and how often does it update?

      • It will update every 24 hours and get the price from that day. If there is a price from that day, it will skip it and wait until the next day. Without going into too much detail, I am getting the HTML and extracting the pricing from that.

For 4WD SupaCentre, I think I have set it not to update between midnight and 2am as I had noticed some pricing was out, so I give it a few hours before getting the new daily pricing.

  • Shipping is variable for a lot of their batteries including the power packs. It comes via Toll. Shows as $55 delivery for me now.

If you want multiple things from Kings either try C&C or contact them to discuss pricing plus shipping. I ordered about $1800 worth of stuff from them recently including 300Ah battery, solar panel, cabling and a few other bits and was charged $140 for delivery. It was cheaper than doing it all online and I got some cheaper pricing as well on some of the products.

I would advise people to buy the 36Ah unit instead of this.
Its around $100 more but you get a far more capable unit.
    I have both the 24Ah and 36Ah

    PROS of 36Ah:
    50% more capacity.
100w input and output vs 45w input and 60w output on smaller unit
    2 type c ports vs 1 type c port
Has anderson port capable of 250w output
Also in my testing, the larger unit was the only one having PPS and showing on samsung as sfc 2.0 on main type c port and sfc on the second type c port.
24Ah unit was only charging at 18w on samsung.
    Has a built in MPTT
    Supports pass through charging "Officially"
Maximum power output :300w Total vs 120w on smaller unit

    CONS:
Its 50% larger and due to shape feels double the size of 24Ah. The 24Ah feels much more compact.
Weighs 4.5 kg vs 3 kg of smaller unit

    • yeah main go for the 36Ah is the 100W USB-C output (and input I think).

      but it's huge.

I mean I just needed the 12Ah as a backup powerbank for blackouts where I have enough juice left for iPad + phone + other stuff like bluetooth speaker). it's already bigger and heavier than I expected, I mean it is LifePo4 though so I heard it's heavier and has 10x more cycles than Lithium ion.
so in my situation I am happy with just 60W output. can't imagine something 3x the size and weight just to get 100W output. ymmv.

    • Just an update regarding the biggest 36Ah unit
Yes,it was the only one having PPS and showing on samsung as sfc 2.0 on main type c port and sfc on the second type c port.
But I seem to be having incompatibility issues with my Samsung S23 ultra.
The main type c port charging keeps on stopping and starting repeatedly and the second type c port charges for some time and then stops.

However both type c ports can charge my laptop fine without any issue.

Can anyone having the 36Ah unit and a recent samung phone advise if it works fine for them?

  • I bought the 24Ah after I bought a brass monkey fridge and wanted it powered even with the car switched off.

Then I wanted the bigger more capable one lol.I should have bought the bigger one the first time.

If all you wanted to do was to charge an ipad and a phone and bluetooth speaker, a far more compact 25000 mah lithium ion powerbank would have done the same I would think. No need for 12v.

    • I also wanted the safety of lifepo4 when leaving it in hot car.

    • a far more compact 25000 mah lithium ion powerbank would have done the same I would think. No need for 12v.

yeah I don't use the 12V at all just bought it for USB-C. but the 12Ah Kings was just much better value for capacity (and many more cycles) than lithium ion. it's roughly 41000mAh @ 3.7V, so even a cheap decent 20000/25000mAh like the Ugreen is $80~$100 and I have to buy two to get the similar capacity, but I only paid $119 for the 12Ah Kings.

the capacity of 41000mAh is just right for blackout back up use. even when I charge the iPad just because it's convenient, there is always at least 50% of the Kings battery left over in case of emergency in an outage.

41k is not as many charges of iPad as you would expect btw, 1.5 full charge of 8000mAh iPad drains the 12Ah battery to 50%. which makes sense because the actual output charge capacity you get out of a powerbank/powerpack is 70% efficiency at best (30% is lost to heat and voltage conversion).

so 41000x0.7=28700mAh of actual output. 28700/8000 of iPad = 3.5 charges of iPad best case scenario (by best case scenario I mean you will only really get 3.5 charges worth if you charge a iPad with 24000mAh battery from 0 to 100% in one go, if you charge 8000mAh iPad from 50% to 100% 6 times it won't be as efficient + losses from self discharge of powerpack when not in use.
