Scivation Xtend is quite a good product, good reputation.
Yeah I was tempted to try till I got hit with postage :P
Free towel from that seller though.
Just as an alternative to people, the BCAA of bulknutriants is actually quite good, and very similar in contents to the Scivation product. Only their watermelon flavor is positively foul.
I got some samples of the watermelon …. i couldn't finish it.
However, I have owned xtend and still use it and rate it very highly.I also have plain bcaa from bulk nutrition to mix with L-Glutamine.
You won't go wrong with either or.
I'm actually quite dubious on how worthwhile BCAAs are actually. I cramp up quite a bit after leg day, so have tried the bulknutriants product to see if this helps (and so far, it has slightly). I tried the xtend product once for the same reasn. Can anyone give evidence in their own experience that this stuff actually works?
My understanding is the big advantages are that it helps prevent muscle loss during either a calorie deficit or for those extended gym sessions.
Let me put it like this
http://rippedbody.jp/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/The-Pyramid-…
supplements help but are only a small factor to ones recovery.
If i forget to take bcaa/gluatmine/zma i do seem to suffer from DOMS for longer.
I hope that helps
Nutrients guys no a , as stated above they help allot when you are trying to maintain that elusive muscle mass during a cut. Additionally F find it can be beneficial to have something sweet whilst working out.
Take magnesium forte, helps with cramping
@Younge: But is the less DOMS related to the better hydration that this product offers? I have read that a strong factor in muscle recovery is attributed to hydration levels. I think the reduction in muscle loss is a big reason why BCAA's are so important. And the reading I've done is that you can largely negate this impact by appropriate diet. And in particular, consuming a protein shake pre-work out.
Also agree with susu abis that magnesium supplement is also a good one to take for muscle recovery.
I still am very skeptical of the role of BCAA's. That is, I'm sure they work as intended, but the results might be too miniscule for the associated cost.
Welcome to the world of bodybuilding! As the years go by we find out new evidence why something that was once good for us, isn't!
I'm a firm believer in trail and error and from my experience bcaa/l-glutamine/zma on a day to day bases helps. If you want more advice you should follow my instagram dedicated to recovery

But honestly mate, keep your diet up, remember your macros and after a big leg day remember to get the blood back into your muscles.
Agreed, value for money
Good product - but not a great deal as this seems to be the old formula & shipping makes it more expensive than on ebay.
Also the 30 serving small size is not very economical, the 90 serve works out much cheaper usually.
If anyone still watching this - this is a much better deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/257467 (SciVation Xtend BCAAs (90 serves) 2 for $119.95 Delivered ($60 each) @ AminoZ)
It is the new formula also & price includes shipping.
Is it actually good ? Been meaning to get into BCAAs but yeah.
