yeah, after the first two days, im like thinking , its impossible how im only walking 1.8km in 2 days, when walking to work is already 600m each way, until i realised the app has to be on. then to contemplate whether to save battery, or hatch an egg.

The officeworks I go to at Keysborough (Vic) does it's at the place where people can browse the web for free on a few desktops. They have split multi cable things to charge different kinds of phones, but no one uses it.

@dasher86: Thats a business proposition. Hang outside an area with huge amounts of local Pokestops and Gyms. Sell the batteries pre-charged there on the street. Its no different from people selling fast food and camping gear to those losers outside of the Apple Store in time for the next iDevice.

If anyone here has a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (pretty sure lots of us have jumped on the deals in the past), the battery on this thing is a beast. I check for Pokemon every hour or so for 20-30 minutes each time, and the battery lasts me the whole day, and then some.

I first noticed something strange happening when, on Sunday at about 9pm, I noticed 8 or so mid 20s hipsters standing around a small suburban World War I memorial. This looked very strange as there is literally no reason for anyone to be there unless it's a certain day in April and November. A day later I downloaded Pokemon Go and finally understood what they were doing. The memorial must be a pokemon drop zone.
They've been offering free charging at kiosks at Westfield Southland and Chadstone shopping centre for months.
This is just Virgin' way of promoting them for Pokémon GO
