  • Yep, showing as $49.98 for me also?

  • It's on the US store and is showing up as $15 USD for me

    https://store.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox-One/Games/Batman-Arkham-Kn…

    • So its a US thing then?

Might need a title update me thinks,

      • Yep - $15USD in the American store. So closer to $20AUD with conversion.

Unfortunately, price of the game converts back to $49.98AUD when switching back to local region.

    • Yep, that's OPs link too:

You can change the region of the Xbox webpage. Go to the bottom of the page and on the left, there is a globe icon with (Australia) in brackets. Click on that and you can change it to US. Then the displayed price changes to US$15.

I do not know what happens if I click buy on the US$15 though. Anyone care to try it?

You need a US payment method, and if so you should be able to buy. Purchased plenty from the US store.

      • Is PayPal if you have an "Australian PayPal account"?

I believe the easiest way is to purchase US digital Microsoft Credit (which you can do on the US MS Store) and then use the credit on the Xbox Store to purchase games. The MS Store seems to be a bit more lenient in which payment methods are accepted. I think you can use PayPal to make purchases from the US MS Store.

That from memory works for any region that has a MS Store that sells digital gift cards. There might be other sources for the gift cards too although I've never looked into that too much (G2A, etc)

        • @Smigit: is there a risk that MS will suspend your account if you try this?

        • @mlburnian: I don't know, but I doubt it. There's lengthy threads on Whirlpool and I don't think anyone has been suspended. MS are still getting their money but who knows, Netflix still gets paid from geoblockers too. I think it's more likely they'd just tighten up the checkout process if they want to prevent overseas sales from the MS Store for Credit, and I see no conflict with people buying gift cards elsewhere to use on the Xbox Marketplace. Their billing system is explicitly set up to allow multi-region billing.

  • easiest way to do this is:

A: buy corresponding US XBL Credit off Amazon. At Checkout, change your billing address to a state with no tax.

B: Code will appear in your amazon account.

C: Go to redeem code on Xbox.com. this will then add US$ To your account.

D: Go to Xbox.com/store, change region at bottom of page to USA. Login and Perfecto.

Id say just buy the premium edition from Canada for $30

    • Be sure to remember you have to pay tax on top of the $30, I didn't. Oh well, the credit will stay on my CA account They only sell in increments of $10 $15 $20 and then $50 odd.
