buy using a credit card with price protection. Then wait for another price drop :)
price protection is really the best thing an ozbargainer can have. normally i would buy the item before it goes on sale so i dont have to fight off the hordes of people or 'out of stock' dilemma, then claim the price difference when the sale starts.
but price protection only if same store right? like if target ten sold ps4 for $250 you can't protect cos this is from BigW.
also is the application process to get a refund tedious?
It depends on your card. 28 degrees, which I use, gives you protection only at the same store, but for 6 months. The refund process is all online and super easy.
Other cards have much shorter windows for claim, but will cover any retailers within a certain distance.
