Think of all the customers that the Australian retails loss out to overseas retails because of the inflated prices.
Better introduce import tax so that local retailers can compete with inflated prices.
Harvey Norman, is that you?

Even with gst, overseas price still cheaper.
What happens to Warranty? Would it be better to purchase through AU as we are protected by Consumer Law?
you reckon all those computer shops want to help you with warranty, they all refer you to manufacturer for warranty. better off getting cheapest price.
Evga have international warranty I think
I like EVGAs international warrantly - but I don't think that and the express shipping are enough to get me to cancel the ASUS OC Strix which will ship out on the 22nd

Cheaper at Amazon right now!
Wouldn't call this a deal. It's cheaper through Amazon UK if you're willing to wait.
