The Megir 2011 "black silver black" is $19.31 at Gearbest with code FBGBES.
Once you are logged into your account add it to your cart then apply the code - FBGBES - for 8% off. Other colours are a similar price.

You can get the similar looking "black" Megir 3780 for $18.38 with the code also.

The Naviforce watches are not bad also if you are after a cheapo, my pick is the "silver black" Naviforce 3683 for $10.71 with the code.

    Make sure you use Paypal.

  • I bought this watch last year. It's still working great however the strap is quite thick & stiff and uncomfortable. I think I got it for about $20. Can't complain much with that price.

    • Does the chronograph work?

Video link above shows it doesn't zero…

I also bought one last year and mine is still going strong.
I actually use the chrono a fair bit and it resets to zero every time.
The guy in the video doesn't seem to know what he's doing with the pushers… Or he got a dud
*Also, not a scratch visible on my glass yet!

Thanks! Got one in the end. Lovely brown gold white one.

  • Factor in the price of a new strap because the supplied one will be crap.

I think these days you really don't need a watch; but if you decide to wear one, buy a proper one, not something like this.

    • When you say proper one, do you mean a $500+ one?
If you're wearing it just for the looks, buy one that looks good, noone knows the price unless they're a (rare) watch geek!

Yes, I think you can buy decent watches from around $500. The trouble with the cheap ones that they always look and feel cheap; the glass scratches easily, the leather strap looks crap, etc. With a decent model it's always a pleasure to have a look at them and this is especially true for a dress watch, like the one in this post.

A $70 Casio will be better than this and of course a $500 watch will be a lot better, but that is catering to a totally different market.
There is obviously a market for around $20.00, so maybe provide some useful information for people looking in this price range.
I have watches in a lot of different price ranges and I like them all, if I followed your advice I would miss out on a lot of watches that give me great enjoyment.
