Saves $10/$5 on usual entry fee. May be worth a wander around to see if it is worth spending the $10 when refurbished.
If you intend going with kids, beware of the non-free Lego exhibit that you will end up paying for!
… and the requirement of pre-booking tickets…
*Please note, this does not include access to our paid exhibition Sydney Harbour Icons with LEGO Bricks.
from the website:
Sydney Living Museums is undertaking a number of works to improve the function, appearance and visitor experience of the Museum of Sydney.
The works are being undertaken as part of the SLM 10 year Capital Work Program. The program represents a significant investment in all our properties to improve facilities, maintain the significance of the places and improve visitor experience.
The Capital Works Program is funded by the NSW Government and is the single biggest investment our assets have received since our inception, thus demonstrating the NSW Government’s ongoing commitment to conserving our property assets and collections. The funding provides us with the opportunity to continue maintaining our properties at a premium level.
Free Museum entry:
We'd like to thank you for your patience during these upgrades by offering FREE general admission to the Museum of Sydney*.
FREE general admission commences on 06 June 2016 and concludes on 29 July 2016.
