      A bit deviated from the topic, but if one wants a QC35 and the ebay voucher, one can buy QC25 from Myer, get it upgraded to QC35 at a BOSE store ($25 extra if lucky, up to $100 top-up), and then get the $50 voucher.

        Buy that and you're still qualified for the $50 voucher, which will bring the price down to $298. Then it's you and your luck how much the upgrade will cost you from a Bose store.

        @atlas: Just walk in, present your tax invoice (from any retailer) and pay the price difference (The difference is subject to how you negotiate the deal.. The cheapest price is $424 so far, hence the minimum possible upgrade cost is $25 assuming you purchased it for $399 at Myer).

        @AussieDaddy: This would work better if you stack with the AMEX Mid-Year offer deal (spend $100 get $30 back). Otherwise the outcome would be the same.

        @feihong: Unfortunately I don't use Amex (just my Debit MasterCard) so I better not try to pull that trick then.

        And with, DISCLAIMER! Everyone should tread carefully with the suggestions we made here. I aint responsible if you go with these suggestions and find out no store willing to give you an upgrade. :)

        @AussieDaddy: Agreed. Luckily with Myer, they do have an excellent 'change of mind' policy so if the upgrade plan doesn't work, it won't be the end of the world!
