Logitechs RRP is way overpriced though. Probably comparing with logitechshop would be better as their prices are more reasonable.

$50 and dunno about shippingI stand corrected then. Logitechshop can be pricy too. ;)
Bought this a few weeks ago for 29.90$ at Dick Smith.
EB games was selling it for 34$.
Both new with 1year warranty.Never saw it for 50$.
Quite happy about the product. Nice if you are used to the playstation joystick style.
Condition: Reconditioned
Warranty: 1Saleaday 30 dayYes, those nano-warranties worry me.
Legally, the warranty is longer than 30 days regardless of what the retailer claims (unless it is a plastic picnic fork.)
Under normal domestic use, an object like this should last for several years without hiccoughs. So, a conservative estimate would be an 18 month statutory warranty (perhaps longer given the Swiss reputation for durable objects.) The high RRPs disadvantage the retailers, since they effectively imply a longer warranty.
See the ACCC Warranty guide.
ACCC commentary on their action against online retailer:
"Online retailers must recognise that they are subject to the same laws as shop front retailers," Mr Samuel warned.
"Ensuring compliance with the law may involve some costs but in the long run it will reduce the risk of action by the ACCC and will benefit the business by fostering goodwill among their customers."good pick up, I didnt notice that when ordering. will test it when it is posted. Thanks
Even new these aren't logitech's best effort. I had this but now use the vastly superior 360 controller. The build quality difference between the two is mammoth. My logitech wore out very quickly
Is the casing new? Nothing more disgusting than a grotty keyboard or gamepad in this case…
do you think we can programme a button to do "auto fire" ? (press and hold and keep firing)
Ordered-
This would work with a Playstation 3 as well.
$13.90 for a decent USB controller is a good, as it can be used with both ps3/pc.
Quick Google search to confirms that it can be used with the PS3:
http://boardsus.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3-General/AWS…basically ps3 supports any gamepads that pc supports. vice versa. so it is actually not surprising at all that this one can be used on ps3.
Actually the ps3 doesn't support Xbox controllers, which work on PC.. So that's incorrect.
I got one too.
Old man has been on my case about wanting a ps3 controller for the PC. This'll do it!
Hopefully not in grotty condition. Doubt they would be..
SOLD OUT!!!
how come my order has been shipped (in less than 3 hours since paying)
What's wrong with that?
same here. hopefully it will arrive tomorrow
I've got mine today. A little bit disappointed since I realised it's not much different to a second hand one. But it was my fault not looking at the condition when order. Hopefully it works fine when I test out a few games.
same got it today and no software, will google later.
ordered one. let's see how long it gets posted. So far so good.
FYI $50 RRP from logitech official site http://www.logitech.com/en-au/gaming/controllers/devices/512…
