Lol was just about to post this deal, you beat me to it :)

    • +12

      Better luck next time :)

      • Joking or not, you are the one here @yourpalcliffy

  • any Shade sails? squares ones? not the ones on front page.

    • Check ebay. I bought a 6x4 one for just over $100
Couldn't even find the material for that price.

I thank you for looking at this.

I know I vaguely remember it was on special a while back…

never the less thank you for your time looking.

        • Is this similar to what you're looking for?

          Edit: and larger

        • +1

@hongas, your politeness is refreshing :)

        • @Jackal:

Hello, no I was more after shade sail or the square ones free standing.

thank you for looking into it. :)

          @Jar Jar Binks:

          Why thank you.

I think nowadays people don't thank enough to acknowledge the credit when it is due.

He/She had to spend few minutes for searching out that I could not do.

so I THANK them for their time.

doesn't cost anything to thank others. ;)

Any specific deals though? What's cheaper from this deal that if bought elsewhere during the same time period would cost more?

  • +2

In my opinion this is a great deal: http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Slime…
I bought one last time they were that price. I use it to pump up go kart tyres at the track and it works a treat. I haven't tried it on car tyres yet. Reviews say it's hard to operate - it's not. Set the pressure, press the button.

Ordered 2 from ebay as that way get 1.25% cashrewards.

      Thanks

    • Am considering this.

Is it really quiet like it claims?

I am guessing you can inflate stuff without seeing a pressure Eg airbed. Right?

Anyone foresee any problems running it off a jumpstarter power pack thingy?

      Thanks?

      • +1

It's quiet enough, but I wouldn't fire it up in the middle of the night to pump up your airbed with the missus sleeping next to you. It has two different settings - tyre inflation and airbed / toy / doll? inflation. It will run fine off a power pack or battery.

        • So it takes a 12VDC power pack connection as well? Assuming it doesn't come with one. That'd be handy for times we stay at a powered campsite.

        • The only power connector is cigarette lighter, so you'd need a 240V cig lighter adaptor or cut the cord and wire a 240V-12V transformer onto it.

    • Brilliant - bought myself one

    • Sold out. I guess I'm not the great OzBargainer I thought I was.

      • I just ordered one through their eBay store. Cheers.

    • Would've made a great present for my karting fanatic dad. Damn people buying things they don't need. :(

The JVC HA-NC80 noise cancelling headphones seem pretty good for $19. But unfortunately sold out.

  • Has anybody used and able to offer any feedback on their "noname" dashcams? In particular looking at the 2" cam. Supposedly $219 down to $69, sounds a little suspicious.
I would expect a $219 dashcam to be decent but the pics on their site of the packaging, with minimalist spec info, make it look like even $69 may be pushing it.

    Thanks?

    • Just buy the ones posted on OzB, most notably the a118c or g1w.

      • I'm quite sure those won't have the best night recording, or video quality in bright sunlight either.

        • a118c works for me. For under $100 there is no 'best'.

  • does anyone have any feedback on the Millers Falls Roller Seat with 45 Piece Tool Kit?

    • Yea
looks just as crapy as most overpriced stuff from supercheap auto
Repco has something similar without the crapy tools that looks ok for same $
Recommend going and having a look in store to check on quality if your doubtful
And the slime compressors are ok
Bought one years ago, just had to replace the air line and fittings as they crack up with age.easy fix.

      • -1

That's the worst feedback report ever! Saying that it looks crappy is a waste of time. Do you have better evidence to substantiate your comment?

        • Yes I've looked very carefully at their toolcabinets in their store and it looks even worse quality
          How about you?

    • never mind , sold out already

      • +2

Avoid the ones with rechargeable batteries - they are very quick to fail in Oz heat. Go for a capacitor based oned instead.

        • Agree, the dashcam I bought from Aliexpress doesn't like working in heat, sometime decides to work in the night time though…

  • FYI http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/DUSTB… is available on eBay for the same price as the club member price ($39). Good chance to use APPY15 if you haven't already.

  • $9.99 for 125amp, 3.7m jumper leads is okay. Only suitable for small cars.

  • does anyone think the 80 watt solar panel is a good buy?

  • Good find Op.

  • Can I use the electric winch for Uncharted 4 cosplay?

    • +1

You can use it to feed your 'friend' who 'fell' in the hole
“ it puts the lotion on "

  • Anyone know what they lightbar is like? Any recommendation on alternatives if it's crap?

  • Tried to find a bargain but ebay beat all that I would have bought off supercheap and its all cheaper and it's not on sale.

I only wouldn't have minded the sold out dash cam…

  • Is the folding aluminum trolley a good buy?
