  • Hey, anyone know what inputs are on this? can only see RCA plugs on the back, but no idea what connections they are.

    • Well, it says AC3, so they must be coaxial s/pdif.

      Ha! just kidding.
      5xRCA for speakers, 6xRCA for ananlog 5.1 in, 2 x stereo input pairs .

For $40, you might be better off getting a nice pair of headphones, or a stereo from a garage sale.
No RMS power spec's but it might be OK for a PC in your bedroom.

      • I don't get it… the description says "6 clearly seperated channels with digital decoder system". The only way it would have a digital decoder system is if it had a digital input… with 6xRCA analogue inputs, it doesn't need to decode anything… something doesn't add up!

        • What about Dolby Pro-Logic II or similar stereo to surround sound systems?

  • I've been using these speakers for like 5 years now. Got it as a giveaway at my company party and although not the best quality speakers around, it does it job and for $40, what more could you ask?

  • +1

22 bucks shipping to QLD @_@

  • Magnetic shielding, there's a blast from the past!

Once upon a time it was relevant when you know, we used to use CRTs.

I'm no RF expert but I'm sure it has zero to nil benefit in today's speakers or it's become standard to the point where it's not even mentioned.

    • I still appreciate the MS, as I'm always leaving Flash sticks lying around my TV/Media centre.

  • probably the latter, some people still use crt tvs/monitors

  • Products web site with full specifications if anybody is interested. Does say it comes with remote control and can be operated using AC or Battery battery power.

    • Website says 70W RMS.
If it really does 10W per channel RMS, then that's not bad.

  • Been happy with the two crappy and tinny speakers in my LCD, but for $40 bucks this seems like a reasonable upgrade !

  • Stix will finally be able to afford a home theater system with this deal. Thanks for posting this Lycan :)

    • LOL, still too expensive. Should be $5!

I had a Laser optical mouse once. WORST MOUSE EVER.

      • Yep, I had a laser wirelss presentation mouse too and it was the WORST MOUSE EVER. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid for freight back to their base for a warrenty claim, the replacement mouse was even worse! They refused to respond to me after that. Horrible crap which has design faults straight out of the box is what my expierence of Laser is. I'd advise to steer well clear of them.

  • not a big fan of these brands..got my cheap brand speaker fews years ago, the buzz noise level after you turn it off (power cord still on) is terrible.
