    I buy Dell monitors because of their warranty. The 2405FWP I organised a group buy on Whirlpool in 2005 ($1450) came with a 5 year warranty (standard was 3 I think) and I think it has been swapped out about 4 times thus far, even the simplest of faults and the next business day warranty becomes useful.

    Having said that, there are better quality panels for cheaper (Samsung etc), but for warranty worldwide not having to worry about a fault not being resolved, its a damn good price!
