I guess that's where the feathers were.

Ah I see, so that's how it normally looks like.

Not everybody knows about ostrich leather, but only one of us here desires to sell some. What is your regular price for this item?

        • Hi

I agree - Ostrich leather is a fairly uncommon product.

          Original price was $88.

          Kind regards

        • @BlanketWholesale: Was the original price a secret?

    • It looks like the patty they used in my Hungry Jack's whoppers.

  • hmmm, i can't see the benefit though. or is it a look at me type of purchase.

    • Hi thanks for the reply,

Most of the leather wallets are cheap manmade bi-cast PU leather and are not of high grade, thick leather and do not last long at all.

This product is high quality leather which will last many years.

      Kind regards.

Oh sweet. The rep says his product is 'high quality' with no qualifying remarks or proof. I'll take 20.

On a serious note, my extensive research (wikipedia) says handbags made with ostrich leather can cost $10000…so this sounds like a bargain at $44?

P.s. The eBay listing has me super confused. Your username is New South Wales, the product location is Adelaide, and the wallet itself says Melbourne!

          Hi

          Yes, good point.

          Thanks for the response.

There are a few partners involved in this venture which is closing down now.

These are the last products available.

          Kind regards

    What's the usual price?
I also think it looks ugly. Just my personal opinion

      Hi

Original price is $88, this is the last of the stock.

      Kind regards

      • Is there some reason why that is omitted in your description and title? Were you too tired from educating yourself?

Hi OP at $35 I would be in. Let me know if you can do anything

Looks like instant acupuncture when you sit with this in the pant pocket.

    • Yeah, you might want to wear protective clothing.

Being a prick to potential customers is a great marketing strategy. No wonder the 'partners' are closing down

Leave him alone, can't you tell from his username that he's Disabled? :)

        • @sqeeksqeek:
          That was quick.

I guess he is just a fraud. Look at the post itself, he is selling a wallet, still the words 'ostrich' and 'genuine' are used more throughout this thread than the talking about the wallet itself. He gives no proof, no reputation as a seller, his ABN means nothing if we are buying from eBay. So we are supposed to believe that it is genuine/ostrich leather wallet based on his claims.

Looks like you've been trying to sell these for a few months with little result at the same price - this is not a sale/bargain, this is spam of a failed previous price point.

  • Negging because "Associated" OP provides no evidence the price was ever higher and avoids disclosing the true price pattern. OP's dismal attitude to legitimate queries caused a tenesmus whereby the truth emerged in tiny pellets. It is unprecedented for a wallet made of genuine ostrich leather not to display the word "ostrich" or even "leather" anywhere. Instead, above "melbourne" it bears the legend "emmanuel mos". Google doesn't know who that is. Therefore this is a spurious "bargain" by an OP failing to take OzBargain seriously.

Negging because this isn't a bargain (as others have said), and because OP has a bad attitude.
