EB games is currently selling the Polk N1 soundbar for $270. Cheapest in staticice is $449 @ mwave.
This bar is designed specifically for XBONE and has specific gaming EQ onboard but can be used a normal soundbar.
Much cheaper on amazon but doesn't ship to Australia. Reviews seems to be pretty good on Amazon
I have a sony soundbar why would i need this for my xbox or am i missing something here for others who dont have one?
According to what-hifi or product description it has a specific gaming EQ that was designed with Microsoft gaming engineers. Not sure how much affect it would have on the game sound. Maybe reviews on the amazon link would be more helpful.
You wouldn't, this is yet another stupid audio product that's being sold to people that will believe that something called "gaming EQ" is a thing that is worth paying for.
I'm pretty sure you would need some Monster cables to use this properly…

yamaha YAS 105B..smash this into dirt.. same price
much better quality.
but white colour may suit some special needs like paring some TV or cabinet
