Anybody any recommendations to upgrade the sound in a single cab. The speakers I have at the moment do not produce any depth/bass. Upgrade just the speakers or install a slim line subwoofer as well? Or pointless as it is a single cab?
IMO & best 'boom' for buck, see if you can squeeze a cheap carpeted slim sub or two behind the seat/s and get some basic splits for the front doors then Amplify the lot of it and you'll be a happy man with kidney pounding bass and glassy highs for some fun doofness for a few hundred bucks… but if you want to go 'high quality' then be prepared to spend at least several hundred or more.
The JVC one supports Flac, the Pioneer strangely doesn't. Important for people who have their music collection stored as Flac, no need to re-encode.
I assume both of these units can handle a 128GB USB fit drive? Anyone know?
I have a budget of $100 for a new head unit. Is the JVC 'better' than the Pioneer? Very hard to find reviews online for them.
Pioneer head units are awesome, I have owned one for a couple of years.
Not sure about JVC but I don't think you will regret buying the Pioneer.
Just make sure it has the features you want and bluetooth is essential.
