Anyone else getting sick of these "new user only" uber spam

    • I do check everytime just in case I can use it, but no success so far…

@kogi, the world isn't static, so there are always new users. I'm sure they appreciate these deals reappearing.

    • 100% agree. It's a marketing tactic continually cycling these codes when they could just leave it opened ended… and the referrals helps encourage OzB users to keep posting.

    • At this rate you have to wonder how many Ozbargainers haven't picked up Uber already

      • I'm yet to get a uber.

Thats a city thing I guess.

    • You know you can hide deals from appearing, right?

      • Nope, but I guess it's wont for for an rss feed?

    Thanks for posting, OP.

Thanks OP. Will try as a new user.

  • I saw a brochure for this at the bank today but there was a different code

    Code: 25STGEORGE

  • In the app it says "your first ride is free up to $25 thanks to StGeorge …." so if your first ride is $26 for example do you still get $25 off and only pay $1?
Has anyone taken a first ride worth more than $25, did you get $25 off the price and only pay the remainder?

    • Yes.

    • Doesn't the $25 go back to your account as credits? For a $26 ride, you still pay $26, except you'll have $25 for your next ride.

      • No, you get $25 off your first ride. If your FIRST ride is $26, you pay $1

  • How do you enter the code in the App? Or can you only enter a promo code when creating a new account on the web?
If you can only enter the code through the web then the deal link should point to the promo, not to Uber site.
